Goading other players is fine in my book. Its part of football and the atmosphere... Some people point out instances were players have tried harder because of it but there are other instances were players have been wound up and put off by it as well.....its all part and parcel of football. As for booing ex players....there are very few ex-players who deserve this....

To be fair Graham Sharp never had a chace....no money and poor sqaud.......although I dont think he would of done much with money either.....

Chris Moore...needs no explanation Ian Dowie .... I didnt mind him going but its the way he did it that got to me... Mark Hughes....Will never forgive him for that goal...... Chris Porter.....Great example of a modern footballer who is happy to screw over a club and its fans for personal profit.... Michael Ricketts.....First footballer I actually remeber playing for us and acting in such a unprofessional way.....

Good point....probably looking at 10,000+ wouldnt we.....which is probably obtainable if we were doing well in the championship..... Fact is, are only hope of changing things is to get the new stadium and get the other business to fund the gap.....

The shareholders dont actually stand to gain or lose anything. If it goes bankrupt your not liable and if it makes money by selling the club then the profit is given to charity.

It worse that that to be honest. Its alot to ask anyone with a family commitments to fork out £20 for themselves let alone for the whole family to watch League One football. Its a rip off to pay that much out for football in higher divisions!!! And all this is componded by the fact that the average perso who lives in Oldham dosent have a lot of spare cash! Im lucky, I have no kids to support etc so I can easily afford to go games. My brother has a kid and another one on the way and its a big ask for him to fork out £20 on 2 hours entertainment! Football is totally overpriced and until this changes all football clubs outside of the premeirship will struggle to get bums on seats.

I didnt go Saturday because of a combination of the following factors: Just completed on the new house and wanted to move my stuff £20 for a FA Cup First Round game is alot of money The FA Cup is a shadow of its former self Doncaster are not the most appealing side If any of these mean people dont think im a real fan etc then fine But I do have more in my life than OAFC *Shock Horror* Will be there on Saturday though

Dont see how I missed the point there, im explaning why i dont go to FA cup games. And as for my duty as a Latics fan??? Sorry mate but I dont think myself or any of us on here need lecturing off you about what we should and shouldnt be doing as latics fans. You really do seem to try to put yourself on a higher cloud than most latics fans. Some fans have to pick and choose there games due to money constraints and family commitments..... As long as you make a resonable effort to go to as many game as you can then your good in my book.

I dont go to the FA cup games and I dont mind admiting it. I probably wouldnt go if it was free and the fact its full price dosent bother me at all. I just dont have any intrest in the FA cup / League Cup / JPT cup.... I do contrbute alot to oldham, more than my fair share, so im not going to feel guity about it... Like a lot of people, you have to balance all your commitments in life. Things arent as black and white as BB80 seems to think they are.

Your TOTALY missing the point! Gregan could probably do a job for us in midfield.....Im doubting ANY of the backup defenders are good enough to replace the hole left behind when he moves into midfield! Stam is massivly overrated by latics fans. He is ok, but he isnt a Gregan.

If you really think Stam, Trotman or Hazell can step in for Gregan long term then your having a laugh mate....

Now thats a thought! I agree with Shez... We are just missing a goal scorer. He was right to get rid of Ricketts! If the guy cant handle being droped then he has no place playing for us. I did think Ricketts was doing alright and I didnt agree with him being droped but Shez is the manager and you have to be more mature than Ricketts was being.... Davies will get us goals if the service is good and hopefully hughes can step up soon and fill Ricketts postion. That leaves us with two kids competing for places. We are missing some decent cover to really push Davies and Hughes so I totally agree someone needs drafting in. We are defending ok and the midfiled could be producing more but its certainly upfront were we look shy.
