Well this has bloody cheered me up this morning!! A great step forward!! Fingers crossed now that its all approved!!!

Im sorry dave but the decision was Porters not the clubs!!! It dosent matter if we had a 40 million pound offer for him he could of still turned it down and gone to scotland on a free!! Nobody actually knows what offers or intrest had been expressed! So to make the statement that "no one was willing to pay it" is completly unfounded.

Only problem with that is you can end up with a Porter situation etc...

lol Make ur mind up, in one breath you say it wouldnt work and then you was you would like to see it and it would be exciting :P I think Wellens would be fine playing defensive leaving KK to push further on.... Gemma, The difference between Lamps/Gerrard situtaion and this is that nither Gerrard or Lampard WILL stay back.....both push on... Wellens has played as a defensive midfield for us on many occasion.

I dislike Wellens and Porter as people....greedy disloyal buggers.... Still have them back in a heart beat :P

Thats just not true... Wellen is a midfielder...he has both defensive and attacking parts to his game.... You could play them both together no problems....

Shame u didnt get tickets....I got tickets via someone in a forum....not the main draw....was almost impossible to get tickets in the draw... Dolphins havent won all season and i dont think they will...giants should crush them hopefully :P I failed to get tickets to the tailgate but if you cant get a friend to go any chance you could pass your tickets onto me ? Would love to go before heading into the stadium...cheers

I think having a conversation about which side Taylor plays on is fine.... I think talking about playing a forward in midfield because he once covered there and scored a goal is a little bit of difference.....I didnt go Wallsall so I cant comment further... As for opened mind thats cool, but some of the suggestions I hear on here are crazy....boardering on become what I posted above...aka Lidds in the net....

Peoples number one complaint about Mcclearn is he plays players out of there team postions..... Over the last couple of months all I have heard is lets try Taylor in the middle, Davies on the left, Gregan upfront (yes someone suggested this), Lidds in the middle....... Whats next ? Ricketts in defence ?? Your all mad!! Allott used to be a forward and is now a midfielder....its worked him dropping to midfield (although I still dont rate him).....but it rarely works.... Its mostly a mistake to around...

Someone actually did suggest playing Gregan up front last week.......i think it was coco...no surprise there :P I dont know what YOUR thoughts where but I remember the general concencus.....it was like pissing in the wind trying to argue against it....Killen was pretending to be injured and Porter was lazy...pish....I just wouldnt be surprised if it was the same peopel saying that, that say lidds legs have gone :P

Ok lets play are forwards on the left hand side of midfield.....we will play gregan upfront and lets put Lidds in the net...... lol...latics fans always know best dont they! We got it right about Rugby Ron didnt we.... Also I see Killen and Porter are struggling up north.....and were not missing haining....no, not one bit....

Everyone fell away towards end of the season! Not just Lidds!!! Also regarding loyalty to LIdds.....EVERYONE seems to forget we dont have a better option!

I belive the stats speak for themselves.....last year he scored alot and assisted a heck of alot....he produced.....but he was also critised... I have an opinion...but i also accept Shez has forgot more about football than I will ever know...I think some of you lot need to learn that as well...
