Final Result : It should stay - creates atmosphere [ 30 ] [25.64%] It should go - killing the atmosphere [ 87 ] [74.36%] Seeing as I started the other one and this has been running for long enough here is the final result. Up to you lot what we do with the other poll and what this poll should mean going forward.....

The drummer was respecting the opinions put forward.... He said he wouldnt take it to the next couple of games. Which he didnt... If people have changed there mind, if the vote is closer, then thats an indication he should continue... If it stays the way it was last time then I would suggest then its time to stop it... When did we start living in a "im ok so sod everyone else" world..... Other peoples thoughts on it should count for something. I think the feelings of us lot on here more or less repersent the wider feeling.... Anyway, we are a community on here, if the community dont want this poll then lets remove it...if not...i am intrested in the results... The other poll got 107 post and 1,763 views.... This is clearly an issue that was bugging people.....

I was wondering if I would get a reply like this....your missing the point, a new poll is valid.... I did say I would do another poll after the drummer had left his drum at home for a couple of games. If we dont meassure peoples feelings since he did that then it renders the other six page discussion pointless... Anyway I will leave it up to you lot..... OK, we had an initial vote which was in favour of the drum not reappearing; the drummer said he wouldn’t bring it to a couple of games. So how do you all feel now ? I’m still against it. Doesn’t help the atmosphere imo...

Thats very true, but if the planning officer had said no then im 99% sure the answer from the committe would of been no as well..... at least we have someone on our side...

I got a smaller size than i usally get so its not too bad....you have to take in to account you havent got the padding when you order. aka if your a large get a medium or even a small... Im a large and got a medium and its still quite big, but thats how it is meant to be i suppose

I dont see how he can chair it......i just dont! If there is any doubt that this man may have already made his mind up and his on the side of the residents then surely it is maddness to have him chair the meeting!!! If we dont get the stadium an awful lot of is going to fly this guys way. How the hell can this not be a conflict of interest ??? I dont see how Carl or yourself would know anything more than anyone else ?? The guy has been helping residents to organise anti development meetings....is that not true....because that is worrying as hell! What more could Carl know which makes this ok ? The panel should have a open mind....Im not buying this guys is sitting down at the table with a open mind!

I would be surprised if it was a travel inn type! The one at bolton is 4 or 5 stars. I would imagine something similar is being planned. Otherwise it would cheapen the whole thing.

You have got to be one of simplest people i have ever dealt with! You said "no one was willing to pay it" I basically said you dont know that! And you think because I cant prove someone was willing to pay it that automatically Qualifies the opposite. Your a bit simple mate. But we can prove it though! plymouth offered 600k! I aint arguing over a 100k.... The facts have been presented above. If he had moved to another club in England we would of got around 700k for him. He didnt, so we lost a 700k ish rated player. YOU DONT KNOW THAT! You dont know what,if any deals, Porter turned down before going to scotland. You dont know what intrest, if any, had been expressed by other clubs. Not every club signals in the public domain what players they are intrested or have enquired about. What we do know is that the majority latics fan, rival suppoters and club expected him to leave in the summer. The only way he would of done that for nothing is going to another country. What we do know is that if a club had to pay a transfer fee for him this would more than likely restrict is wage. Not the case if he went to another country. What we do know is that he suddenly out of the blue was off to scotland..... I will repeat YOU HAVENT GOT A CLUE what offers were submitted or were about to be submitted... ANd you HAVENT GOT A CLUE what intrest had been put to the club in the background.... Thats why your post is completly unfounded....

The residents claims are a little silly! Two examples! The residents claim the development would be an eye sore ???? How the hell will a modern stadium with a hotel, conference facilities be an eye sore ??? Compared to the crumbling stadium that is there! Semi-rural landscape would be destroyed ??? Semi-rural ?? the only patch of grass around there is clayton fields....which isnt being touched!!!

Theres going to be alot of stuff like this. To be honest, it will be quite upsetting slowly watching the old ground dissapear and the new one take shape. I know we are not moving but the place is going to look alot different in a few years time. I will miss the old place but I totally welcome with open arms the new development.

After reading the PDFs the biggest and only real issues is the bats! There is bats so what can we do about it ? Can they be moved ? Can redesign the stand so the bats are happy ?? We need happy bats :P
