Who on earth said this was caused by fans? I said that I don't believe that the fans were innocent.
Maybe it's just my sterling education, but if you try and understand the point, then you'd realise that what I am arguing is that I don't believe that fans were blameless.
That does not exonerate the police, or turn the fans into mindless hooligans. Life isn't binary, it is possible for there to exist shades of grey.
contradiction
kɒntrəˈdɪkʃ(ə)n/noun- a combination of statements, ideas, or features which are opposed to one another.
Ultimately you are ignoring the evidence, the two year inquest and the verdict (question 7).... Why do you know better ?
-
-
Until I see evidence I will always doubt that the fans outside were completely innocent.
I refer you to question 7 and the two year inquest and all the associated evidence.
And if that isn't enough, may I suggest you go back to school and get that education you missed out on ?

Due to not being a rampant racist and having half a brain to understand the lies and risks of the out campaign... I will be voting to remain in the EU

Justice at last...
Certain people still wish to make a cock of themselves. Let them... The are flying in the face of justice and are just plain embarrassing themselves. Putting tribal bull:censored: and their own hateful prejudices ahead of a massive miscarriage of justice.
Bored of arguing over Hillsborough now. The truth won... and c**ts will be c**ts...Roll on the prosecutions now.

Great result! Shez rocks

Just read your edit...
It might of been around 2009... Would of been the 2009/2010 season I stopped going...I didn't have a break before that though...
EDIT:
Saying that.. I am now not sure if I had a season ticket for the 2009/2010 season... I stopped going before the season ended and there is noway I would of done that if I had a ST... So I think my last season ticket must of been 2008/2009...
Which means you might be right... and in which case that would make you a stalker
-
Was "several" too excessive?
When did they visit ? That was a lot long than six years ago surely ?? I was a season ticket holder back when all that :censored: was going on so I wouldn't of been paying to come to that £5 game whenever it was. I would of had a season ticket for it.
-
Exeter at home for £5 when the American lasses turned up was a one off return after several years away. IIRC.
#DoesThatMakeMeSeemLikeAStalker
Not true

It's funny, it seems like a lot longer than five years that you've been telling us all you don't go anymore.
Might be six...
Edit: yeah you are right... It is six...

Oh sorry I forgot you are the man of facts and we just make things up ! Thank god you keep coming back every now and then to correct us.
Well done you are finally starting to get it

Yeah. Back to Ched.
Supposing his appeal is successful. Does anyone really still want him? Another year of no football under his belt. There'll still be unbelievable amounts of aggro if we sign him. And we're in the middle of a relegation battle where we need snookers. Ched's the last thing we need.
Guess to some people its just the pursuit of three points every Saturday. If it is then I can see why people would happily take Ched. I see it differently and think the moral standing of someone should count for something in such high profile positions.

No
Just the last 20 years of coming to BP and supporting the team
I haven't been in five years. The other 15 I had a season ticket year on year. Stop the lies.

I was talking about new owners!
Administration could apply now or after a sale of the shares-Its a different matter entirely
Really? I think they would be linked... Isn't it the usal course of action for one set of owners to :censored: up, club enters admin, new owners buy on the cheap ? Or did I miss the last 20 years of the Football League :P
-
New owners of the shares would have to meet the responsibilities of OAFC (2014) Ltd
I wouldn't be so sure... For example if the club enters administration at any point I think the situation might becomes a lot more complicated...
For example if you buy a gift card from a company and it goes into administration then the company is no longer under obligation to honor the gift card. Isn't a season ticket a similar thing ?

For the love of all that is holy, 'have', not 'of'
I stand corrected

The price guarantee is against the full price according to the article, not the discount price, so if you buy at £350 and we win none and go down, the club could offer the same seats at £300 discounted / £375 full price and you'd get no refund and end up paying £50 more than someone in the same area.
The devil is always in the detail! Good spot

This OAFC0000 fella, comes on this forum as an oldham athletic supporter - doesn't support the team, doesn't support the club and wants to ensure everyone else knows how 'rosy' it is, by sitting at home and not supporting...
Then has a dig at any proactive approach from the club and makes those of us left who do support the club feel daft for doing so?
If your non supporting life is so rosy, go and enjoy it somewhere else and stop boring us with these massively predictable posts.
Oh, and I've just realised I'll mute you from now on and suggest many others do.

You won't see this but I did go to the Wigan game to be fair

I'm not sure the point you're trying to make in the second line of your post.
It wasn't a point... It was a bet... The clue was in what I wrote...
-
Which I've thought about and personally think they won't be hence that price match guarantee, but if a person would be happy to renew at that price without this deal/gamble, let's say using the thinking that a decent fund would help an attempt aT a quick return to L1 then what's the difference. Marketing isn't a trick . It's a simple case of one person offering something and the other being happy to accept it. If they aren't, then don't sign up/buy etc
You might of thought about it but the tone of some of the other posts makes me think people are going a little bit ahead of themselves.
Marketing is a trick. If it wasn't for marketing you wouldn't own half the useless crap in your house right now
-
I don't think anybody actually buys them once the introductory price is gone.
Someone must of done Can you imagine the laughing in the ticket office as they do
-
Maybe I am. I try and see the positives in a lot of things too.
Deal. £20 to Playershare if we go down and prices drop. £20 to you to do what you want with if they don't drop?
Nah keep your money... I would only blow it on coke and hookers... (really cheap ones )
Lets just see
-
I just noticed the £350 is a discount price... £450 to watch Latics WTF
-
Why would they add in the price match guarantee if they will just keep the prices the same for league 2?
You are all falling for Marketing & Sales 101
Lets have a little bet... If Latics get relegated I reckon the ST prices will remain at £350
-
Do you think in normal circumstances they would drop the prices if we got relegated?
Well we aren't in a unusual position at the moment and the deal on the table is clear. A ST for League Two Football next year is £350. So in normal circumstances I would expect the ST price to be £350 because this is what the club has just told us its going to be. Will make Oldham Athletic one of the most expensive clubs to watch next year at this level.
Now that in itself isn't a bad or a good thing. It might give us a strong playing budget next year compared to other teams. But no one is doing you any favours with this "deal". Its a gamble on us going down and the club ensuring an income stream.
What should worry everyone is if this deal is taken up in big numbers (or even small numbers) and they actually win the next four. Next years budget surely is going to look a bit pitiful.

I dont think many of them will get closure until people are held accountable. Its now over to the CPS.
Yesterday was just the first stage of winning the fight for justice in many people's eyes.
