  1. Two yarddogs... This just got confusing
  2. Lets be frank... The opportunity to have a proper influential trust has all but been squandered.... The vision was wrong The aims where wrong The execution was terrible It is dead I have come to the conclusion that it actually does more harm than good to view it as anything other than a failed organisation and it should be left to pass on and die. I asked a couple of questions to "the trust" a week ago... Questions the majority of people on here wanted answers to... Like many times in the past they have gone unanswered... Its not a dig at the people currently running it really. I think it was all dead in the water under the previous leadership. It literally now a case of flogging a dead horse.
  3. How is a request for information a conspiracy ?
  4. Yes... In the past we got NOTHING... Which was way short of what we could of got... All I am asking is for enough so I CAN crawl back under a stone and stop going on about it. I got more vocal as the trust showed itself to be a lame duck. I am hoping under its new leadership it can be louder and start answering some of the questions and letting us know if we need to worry or not.
  5. A lot of people once took a Mr Moores at face value and while I AM NOT suggesting Corney or anyone else currently involved at the club is doing anything as damaging as he did... The lesson from that period to all fans was never again to trust anyone. Hence why we set up the trust. The trust should be aware of all these issues and keeping an eye on them. And they should be telling the fans what they can about these issues (or none issues). The fact is we bought 3% of the club so we would know simple stuff like this. If there is nothing to hide, there is nothing to hide......
  6. Apparently we rent/lease the seats.... ?? Wasn't this being discussed yesterday....
  7. Some people seem to think we get rent from the use of facilities... Which we lease from Brass Bank.... for a fee (I presume)... Which I am presuming means we actually make nothing... But who knows... Maybe a question for a new trust to sort out....
  8. Whatever you think about me, I do only crawl out of my rock because I do care about the club.... even if you think I go the wrong way about it.
  9. And you think I wasn't factoring in their points as well ? The fact United don't own their land isn't a positive for Manchester United either...
  10. We are a more attractive option to buy since the new stand was built, after TTA knocked down the old stand. But not as attractive as when TTA originally bought us with all that land available. I don't think their ownership could ever be viewed as being a successful one. They ultimately failed to move the club forward in my opinion.
  11. Its sad I have to keep explaining this... You think a lack of assets is a good thing for a company which struggles to meet is outgoings ? Assets like land and stadium are a clubs safety net... The huge fall back for football clubs struggling was their ground and land they owned. With many clubs not owning their ground / land now it puts lots of them in difficult positions. Look at Bolton, their only hope at the moment is selling off land. If it wasn't for the land they would of been wound up last week. Clubs not owning any real assets to borrow against or sell off if needs be puts lots of them in real danger of collapse. Its pretty obvious isn't it ? Its not a unique problem for us. Its not the only measure of how :censored:ed a club is. but us and the rest of football is lot more :censored:ed than it was twenty years ago....
  12. Keep in mind back in the day we used to cram people in way more than we do now.
  13. I am not sure the fact that many other clubs are :censored:ed as well is much comfort to be honest.
  14. I think when we are talking those sums of money then they probably would have....
  15. Yup... As in we should trust the trust and not the man on the payroll.... If we could trust the money men and the people on the payroll we wouldn't need a trust...
  16. I think its a question / job for the trust personally. But thanks for the suggestion. I think there is an echo in here tonight...
  17. I think its a question / job for the trust personally. But thanks for the suggestion.
  18. Hence why I just made two posts in the section of the forum that is dedicated to them. I suppose now is the time they get to prove themselves. I am sure we are all agreed that this charge is EXACTLY what we set the trust up to concern itself with.
  19. Not likely but thanks for the reminder I might be going to the Wigan game though
  20. Never asked for a vote Chaddy... Just a bit of information every now and then...
