  1. So any form of disagreement to you is slagging off ? You must spend a lot of your life being very angry....
  2. I didn't "slag off" anyone. I disagreed with the masses (nothing new there). My tone and opinion of it not being a red card has not changed one inch. EDIT: Just went back over that thread and the only person being "slagged off" is me!
  3. Sorry if my language wasn't strong enough for you. I think its a red. Who knows what conclusion the FA panel will come to. They aren't very consistent. Its never the same people sat on it so it can't be. If you lot was sat on it they would over turn it. I am sure if Vinney Jones was sat on the panel he would over turn it.
  4. £500, even for Latics, isn't that big of a sum... Agree with you that it shows the club will back them. Don't think they have a hope in hell of winning the appeal.
  5. I know it costs about £1000 in Scotland to appeal... No idea about England but you would imagine it would be a similar fee. EDIT: http://playtheadvantage.com/2014/02/06/what-a-red-card-appeal-really-means-part-one/ Clubs pay for the privilege – Premier League clubs pay £1500 to lodge the claim. Lower league clubs pay progressively less. If they lose their appeal, they don’t get the fee back.
  6. No I don't... At least I don't use foul language like some of you... Well not often :P
  7. lol It is funny how a lot of people think it was unjust but aren't confident of it being over turned. Like the FA are out to get us.... That is pretty funny...
  8. The only thing this thread proves is how much distance there is between the way the majority of fans think and the actual rules of the game have gone.
  9. It is your interpretation that is clearly flawed... FIFA / UEFA couldn't have been more clear about feet leaving the ground during tackles over the last ten years. As for appetite for an argument, I am always up for correcting the wrong....
  10. Are you saying his feet didn't leave the ground ? Because its quite clear on the video they did... and if they do its a red... So your issue is with the rule book I presume and not the referee ?
  11. FFS I really am not allowed an opinion am I.... Watched it on the Sky website.. His feet very clearly leave the ground. That is a red card no matter which way you look at it. Read the rule book! Other posters have also pointed out his feet leave the ground....
  12. Was a cast iron red card... Both feet clearly off the ground, it rash and dirty... Can't believe there is so much debate.... That keeper is :censored:ing awful as well by the way...
  13. Well if you are five points off three teams... and then five points off one team... Your chances only go down... You obviously can't see it so will leave it here...
  14. Its a matter of slowly running out of options or don't you see that?
  15. Listening to some of our supporters this team was full of world beaters when we had Johnson in charge
  16. Bit of wishful thinking Blackpool made no difference. Its another team pulling away from us... The only positive is stringing together three or four results makes a massive difference... But that would be a monumental turn around for the club at the moment... I think we are :censored:ed to be honest... Unless Corney has a big bag of cash for some signings... Yup, we are :censored:ed...
