Heard a bloke say the other day that he was a City fan who only goes when one of his corporate clients invites him.They may be able to get him a season ticket next season so he might get one and only use it to go to the 5 biggest games. Everything that is bad about Premier League's so called supporters of convenience.

Just think that if we could get Uwe Rossler with Gunnar it would be a great combination for the club. I know that Rossler didn't do well at Wigan but Malky McKay is struggling there and I suspect there are other underlying problems at the plastic Latics. Hopefully they are on their way back to where they belong: Non League

We are in such a fragile position ie always looking over our shoulder at relegation that it is difficult for a manager to take a chance on blooding youth players. Also the transition from youth to a full contract is difficult and we are very poor in helping players through that period of their lives,compounded now by the lack of reserve team football. This is an ongoing problem within the Club,Winchester has been around the first team for 4 years and is only now blossoming,this should have happened earlier and he has just narrowly escaped disappearing back to Ireland like Kirk Millar. We seem obliged to keep a couple on each year from the Youth but it is pointless if we are not going to put them in the firing line.also the merry go round of managers has a very negative effect on the transition process, it's hard enough for experienced players to make the grade with a new manager,what chance have young fringe players got. Really do need to put TP in charge of all football affairs,he is the only one that sticks with us and will be capable of cementing the club together with a coherent youth progression policy. We are now faced with a new manager,new team next year it's just an annual merrygoround that makes it hard to build empathy with the club and team.

Not happy with the timing of LJ going ,but I suppose if you were working for a business with no money,up for sale and you could have a new boss soon,you wouldn't need much convincing to move on for more money.

Ironic how a couple of weeks ago LJ was bragging that he was one of the longest serving managers. Basically if a manager gets us into the top half of the table he becomes a genius and gets lured away from us, if they are crap we sack them, we will never get any continuity. Makes you very cynical about all the talk of building for the future, just hot air.

Players may be out of form, but that comment is out of order. He is one of us and doesn't deserve that.

I take no comment means we are negotiating the compensation. If they weren't doing this they would say either we have rejected the approach or we have given Barnsley permission to speak to Lee. Unless today there is no one at the club today capable of making a comment.
