  1. Be a long wait in the reserves if they’re after British Citizenship!
  2. Wellens said he won’t be but in fairness we’ve heard that before!
  3. Don’t fancy Nazon at all me personally. I think AAH is a better player and brings more to the table!
  4. Good for us if that is the case. Begs the question why they signed him in the first place!
  5. Not seen him play for a number of years so why do we think he’s not catching at Barnsley? He’s 31 so you wouldn’t think his legs would have gone yet would you? Going off his experience and the fact he’s consistently played at a higher level I’d obviously say take him but I’d be interested to know why his career seems to have ground to a halt. Injuries, attitude, bad luck?
  6. Not all filthy rich like us now are they
  7. Generally it isn’t. If you are a bit of an arse hole then maybe, but thankfully the majority on this board aren’t.
  8. Can’t quite understand why you need to be using the tone you are. It doesn’t make you look any smarter. But if it makes you feel better about yourself then fair enough. Anyway, your league table from last season just confirms what I’ve said. We’re as close as ever to relegation than we’ve ever been. Being lower in the league earlier in the season doesn’t mean you’re any closer to relegation because there are more games to play to get out of it. Not sure if you’re keeping up or not but frankly I couldn’t care less.
  9. I don’t think I’ve once said I want Wellens out? I just want him to take responsibility for how poor we are as a team when we actually have a good squad of players. If a manager like Grayson with a proven track record of winning promotion from this division became available, I’d want us to go for him. HOWEVER, I wouldn’t want us to give him the boot for someone who wouldn’t take us forward quickly.
  10. Not sure actually. I don’t think they have no. But so effective together when he comes on from the bench...
  11. Depends how you want to play I suppose. I wouldn’t mind seeing AAH given a crack from the start. Wellens is the one that says he wants to play it on the deck so why not so just that against Oxford?
  12. You did....? We weren’t 8 points adrift at this point last year. Shezzurection was well under way. Because you don’t agree with an opinion it’s utter bollocks?
  13. Which all of those players are capable of doing. They’re not made of paper.
  14. Clarke and Gerrard both recognised, experienced CB’s. He chose to loan one out to a relegation rival. Were we 8pts adrift at this time last year? No, we weren’t. I don’t give a flying fook if he’s in his managerial nappy or not, he still doesn’t know what formation to play to get the best out of these players. You need to calm down and just debate in a manner that won’t give you high blood pressure.
  15. Holding it up? Play it on the deck and run at them. I am of course presuming their pitch isn’t dog shit.
  16. He’s got great feet, deceivingly good pace and is an absolute animal. If he was a natural finisher he’d be playing at a much higher level especially with his physique. Been a critic of his in the past but I’d start him ahead of Nazon every day of the week.
  17. Well we know Byrne. He stated he was desperate to being Bryan and Doyle back which he did. He’s chose to play Moimbe and rightly so. McEleney I imagine was all him. Probably more than is made out at times.
  18. No but it’s not his group of players in his defence. His record at this level is undenyable.
  19. I agree to an extent but if someone like Simon Grayson became available and we could have him, you wouldn’t want him? Obviously I know he won’t be available now but just using him as an example.
  20. See my post above. Coach players properly and improve what, on paper should be a good defence. Placide has played at a higher level. Both Dummigan and Hunt were big prospects at Premier League clubs. Gerrard has played at a higher level. Bryan is one of City’s more promising defensive players. Sure he captained their Development side? Moimbe has played at a higher level. Not one of those players has hit their peak yet.
  21. Would like nothing more than a connection between us and Roughyeds if it helped galvanise the town in the way it has Huddersfield. BUT serious money would need investing in the playing surface. Potential if we can start using the synthetic surfaces but until then it’s just not worth it for us.
  22. Really? Got a belting squad of players and with only 8 games left he still doesnt seem to know what formation to use to get the best out of them. We’re probably as close as ever to relegation and until Byrne came on and sparked something we looked to be lacking any fight to turn things around. Not saying get rid but he certainly doesn’t appear to fully know what he’s doing, despite a few good performances in his honeymoon period.
