    We were scoring for fun earlier in the season with him in the team. The midfield trio isn’t working like it used to generally. Maybe the answer is remove Fane but I think that’s harsh on the lad as individually he’s been our most consistent performer this season (Doyle aside). Gardner seems to be the one who’s gone off the boil.

    He does exactly what he’s there to do. Almost every single game. In recent weeks even his general footballing ability has improved. His passing has and we’re seeing him drive forward with the ball a hell of a lot more. I think he’s excellent.

    So you (and many others) actively targeting Banks with insults is fine? Someone calling you out on it isn’t? I’ve apologised to anyone including yourself who found my comment distasteful and have removed it as I have accepted it was silly and irrational of me. But what I will say is if you genuinely are ‘disgusted’ by it, then I feel sorry for you. You mustn’t be able to leave the house for fear of being offended.

    So presuming we’re still signing Doyle... ...by the time he’s fit we’ll have:- Doyle Davies Holloway Nazon Duffus and then we’re linked with Ladapo, Ched etc? Surely Nazon is the one to score the goals along with Davies until Doyle is back fit?

    Mum quite excited at the prospect of this Moimbe lad. We’ve needed a proper LB all season so hopefully he’ll bring some much needed balance to the team.

    Was always a stupid move to send Clarke to Bury. We need him badly now. Our defending (not just back 4) is fucking atrocious. Who’s coaching us defensively??

    Just some bloody ambition on the pitch will do me for now. Actually trying to get promoted and not seeing staying up as a success. The fact Corney has implanted that mentality into some of our fan base is a disgrace and I couldn’t be happier he’s gone. Here’s to a bright and prosperous future guys! Hopefully some success and with some luck we can be proud of our club and our team once again!

    If we’d got him on a free straight away he might not have had the hunger and desire to prove a point which he has showed so far. Who knows. All I know is he’s ours now and I’m looking forward to watching him play.

    Thats positive. Any idea if the timescale of his injury is still what was reported? Or could we see him back sooner than that?

    When Doyle and Byrne were in the team and Davies was playing with confidence and hunger, he held the ball up far better than Holloway. Get the band back together and it’ll all click again.
