If you read my post properly im not saying Hardy is lying. Its simply stating the reality of the situation we are in. We are skint and i cant see us spending 250k on Mcdonald like people are suggesting. Yeah some will go to offering players more wages. But after all the moaning and preaching about the lack of money it would be stupid to spend the 300k on fees.

Will the money REALLY be given to Dickov to bring players in? REALLY? We struggled to pay players on time a few months ago and now we are being told we will get the money straight back for transfers? People expect us to pay for Cody with the money? What about our loss's and the fact we have no money barring season ticket sales.

Hes our best player, would of been our leading scorer had he not gone to saints. The fact other teams are selling players for around a million when they are full backs who are seen to have potential and we sell our best player, one of the best passers in our league and a creative player for half of the price is shocking. We could of held off for more money considering there were more teams interested. IMO its a panic sell, cos its 6 figures and they feel they need the money fast so we can buy. Just hope we get some real quality in cause we are in danger of going down.

Bit of a contradiction really saying you dont get where the idea Hazell is prone to make mistakes comes from, then saying he does make the odd error? This is the best news we could of had tbh. As has been mentioned he costs us to many goals/games with his clumsyness and diddydadling. He was not a leader and he was one of the reasons we could not defend a lead last season with his crumbling. We can and probably will get a better and more stable centre half/leader with the same budget we was offering him. Id be very happy with Mvoto Tarky and experienced centre half as our choice next season.

I doubt Norwich would want to keep him with them being in the prem, so maybe if they release him or we could put a sneaky season long loan in for him. On the subject of the teams in our league next season and the attendences possibly rising i reckon taking into consideration away fans this is what i think (if all played on a saturday - i know they wont) just an average: Rochdale - 7,500 Bury - 6,500 Preston - 6,000 Sheff Weds - 7,000 Sheff Utd - 7,500 Chesterfield - 5,500 Huddersfield (if they stay down) 8,000

The problem with Hazell is, were :censored: with him as he costs us goals. However we are :censored:ter without him. Either way he has been offered a contract, whether he accepts is another matter.

With the finances a problem and all the people out of contract, a possible team next season with taylor and furman still here and stephens gone. Brill lee tarky mvoto / hazell Evina Taylor furman new cm / winchester new winger / morais Reid new striker Obviously it depends who we can keep and also bring in. Maybe 6 signings free or loan. Would love mvoto but dont look likely. We also have players like brooke, feeney, jones, black and millar along with other youth players. Maybe have a weaker squad and smaller but hopefully enough to keep us up.

Today was just another repeat of the last few months matches, we look good in patches and pass the ball around pretty well, concede a silly goal, heads go down because we are missing a real leader. Then we dont look like scoring to get back into the game. Just played aimless passes going nowhere, but it doesnt help with the fans constantly moaning at every little thing they do. Thought Taylor had a decent game (end of the match he was on his own clapping the fans nearly in tears and walked off on his own). Jones actually had a decent game in centre mid, got stuck in and played simple balls but i would sick him on the right on Tuesday with Furman in middle and Morais up front with Tonk. Feeney is useless and Stephens needs Furman next to him. Another thing, the fans at the back of the stand who are more interested in singing songs about being "oldham boys" and trying to start trouble with opposition fans are just embarrassing to our club.

Just wondering if it would be sensible to do a similar offer at the Tranmere game that we are doing for Carlisle? Maybe not to the extent to 2 squid but maybe reduce it to a tenner for adults and maybe 5 for under 16s? Considering the game is on sky i dont want everyone to see a 3/4 empty ground for a promotion chasing team.
