  1. Yes, should be a good time to play them on our mess when they're leggy after a 0-0 tonight.

Would Shez have had 'em watched?

Pitbull did it for him when he was at Plymouth although he might have just been assigned the northern quarter.

I saw him at Bury v Bin Dippers FC.

Job done by Mini Shez, Plymouth beat them the following week.

  2. Heard it on good authority that he joins us next week.

I too have very good reason to believe that there's better than a 50 / 50 shout he'll be back with us for at least the remainder of the season. Work is ongoing to facilitate this.

He will add so much to our game as his versatility will give Shez so many options.

  3. Credit to Shez tonight.

Some restless souls including myself were looking at the bench long before the penalty was given.

Even then he persisted with his starting formation allowing McLaughlin that cucial second goal.

Posh were dire, particularly second half and Shez's patience paid dividends.

Would Robbo have done the same?

    Experience speaks volumes.....

  4. Finally grew a pair tonight and looked comfortable throughout.

Confidence increased with time and by the 30 min mark I thought that we were just about turning the screw.

After Freddie's emphatic finish we didn't look back.

Lee's industrious second right on half time gave us the breathing space we needed second half and we kept them at arms length.

Everyone did their job well tonight and we were unlucky not to make it 3.

A sub 3K crowd tonight reacted as if there was 5k there and we go into Saturday's game V Bristol Rovers with renewed optimism.

  5. 'Mendi' asked the Palace forum about Freddie and this was one of their (at least to date) very few replies....

"I reckon he'll give you good service for 6 months - used to playing against roughty toughty cloggers but not a silky technician.

PS - Nothing personal, but how many bungs did you give to stay up at our expense?"

  6. To be brutally honest, I hope the 4 coming in by Tuesday are all guaranteed first team starters.

There certainly wasn't enough there today to suggest we'll hold our own in league 1 next season.

I know we're not done but more of the same won't be enough. Time to up the ante.

Time to make that team look like they have goals in them. It certainly didn't look like that today.

  7. Shez changed the home dug out back to the Chaddy side as it was familiar to him, and to me, and to every other regular supporter, wherever you may sit. Worked, didn't it?

Anyone know what's been decided for the new season, should we stay the same or go cack handed again?

Does it matter? It does to me.
