  1. Main was MOM for me. As good as Holloway is, Forte's pace and positioning really helped Curtis tonight. His goal was Horlicks and would have pissed DRFC right off!

     

    Dieng also had an absolute belter, as did Forte until he was rested.

     

    Kelly was on one tonight, his enigmatic self came through in the end as he acted the bully which worked for the most part but at times, his less than favourable antics were at least replicated by theirs, so he won out for me in the end, with bells on!

     

    Absolutely loved it tonight!

  2. I don't disagree, but a salary of £L,OTS per week at BRFC along with the potential to pick up at least half that elsewhere locally With a 2/3 yr deal ( Udders, PNE, Rotherham, Barnsley, Bolton et al) would keep him well out of reach in the short term.

    He may have to consider something further afield, but he'll get It....

    Takes him to 30+ years old .....

  3. Don't worry about my source as it's 100%.

     

    Chris is ready to play again and he had a reserve team fixture V Fleetwood Town arranged to play sometime later this week.

     

    Whether Dunny has approached BRFC to sharpen him up with us for a month or two remains to be seen; he's been out for a while and his rehab needs to be managed closely but DD could well be trusted with that.

    And very similar to 4-3-3, and 4-3-1-2.

     

    Hopefully we have more than Plan A1, A2, A3 & A4.

    Spoke to Daz today at the Spindles shindig / ceilidh or whatever it was, our philosopher is considering a 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1, says "we'll be strong through through the spine but possibly a little vulnerable down the flanks".

    No wonder Millsy didn't bother to turn up today!

    Special mention to Connor Brown, he was the only player to let on.

I know it might come across as a 'tongue in cheek' question, but after the last two fixtures drawing blanks against championship opposition, how many goals do you think we will get against these two lower league opponents......whilst due to the acknowledged lack of central defensive cover we are also worrying about how many we might concede?

    Personally, I think these last two games should be treated as much more than just a fitness workout.

    Time for the strikers to move up a couple of gears and genuinely earn competitive start/s, and for DK to settle a defence into a pattern which identities of our likely partnerships through the first few games to the 31 Aug deadline at least.
