    Years ago TV were not allowed to screen live games while there was other games going on......last night we had the Scum v Inter on TV. Big part of the cause of the poor attendance As for the performance....the front two are just not quick enough...end of

    I remember the 2-2 well. Pitch was a mdbath with a 1ft square oiece of ice which Burketts clearance landed on. Scary thing is its 42 years ago......now where did they go ??? Man of match was one Bobby Moore who was awesome defensively that day Jim Standen also played cricket for Lancs I think and came on as sub for England in at least one test match. Deliberate mistake...it was Reg Blore. That was the team at the start of the Bates era .

    Masters degree at 24....at that age ? So 6 years sat at uni.....no experience of the real world. Planning consultant ? OLDHAM perchance ? Sorry for the dig...engineering degree myself...and 34 years in... In my game we have a definition of a consultant.....someone brought in to share the blame.
