Hi all,
Was wondering if there are any fans that travel from Liverpool to the games, I have got rid of my car due to living in the city centre (all the amenities I thought) so I have had to get a train to Manchester and then a bus to oldham (due to the metrolink being built). Obvisouly I will chip in for petrol etc.

i travel from liverpool, wavertree technology park to all home games but i haven't been to an away game yet this season

Never a penalty I was right in front of it and Gregan didn't get anywhere near him, at first I thought the Gills player dived but most people who were there who I've spoken to thought it was a foul and he should of gone. I don't rate Danny Whittaker but for his standards he didn't do badly on Sat
his standards aren't good enough though so that isn't a positive

It's interesting people complaining about two shots on target, it may well be the case but it didn't mean we didn't have a fair few chances to win it and up until the goal I'd say we were the best team, the problem IMO is that once we conceed a goal the heads drop and we cave in, also from what I heard before we appointed Penny is that he has no plan B and I'm starting to see it in a few performances
Please don't make a case for us to be happy with two shots on target unless you have no want for latics to progress. really

I have few problems with a physical approach to defending and breaking up the flow of our opponents.
But once we've done that we struggle to be creative and threatening going forwards. Even when Abbott is fit.
It's very worrying. There have been so many games this season in which we haven't scored. I know that a number of weeks back we were 23rd on goals scored. Does anyone know what the sistuation with that is now?

it's not something to laugh at, at all. I see this post as an example of how bitter latics fans generally are. It's possibly because latics aren't great and the town of oldham is a :censored:hole. but i find it sad that quite often, the loudest chants i hear at games are chants about hating other teams. These teams are nearly all better than us and they only really hate them because of jealousy. It's pathetic

Singer Jamelia has filed for divorce from her husband Darren Byfield, after a rocky 18 months of marriage. The couple split during their engagement after Darren was rumoured to have cheated with a blonde, but they later agreed to try to make things work for the sake of their daughter Tiani. Jamelia released a statement last night which reads: "It is with regret that Jamelia and Darren Byfield today confirm they are splitting up and getting a divorce. No one else is involved. Their priority is naturally their children." Sad times.

I went to City-Scunthorpe tonight and City brought on Vlad Weiss for half an hour and he ran the Iron full back (who had done a decent job up against SWP) ragged.
Could be worth a loan move until Smalley is back to full fitness?
I watched him play in the fa youth cup final in 2007/8. he was in my poinion the best player in the game and have admired him since. i would be delighted if we could, he's a very good player and will do very well in the future i think

does anyone know a latics fan called tony ryan..? my mate who i live with, supports derby county and commented on a hate to latics page on facebook for a laugh between me and him which sent old boy tony into a mid life crisis and a crazy one. he added my mate on facebook and sent him a message to ask why he had said something disrespectful about latics, which i think is pathetic. he also told my mate to dig up brian clough, have sex with him and then bury him again. i find this man's attitude disgraceful and would like to know if anyone knows of him please

how can you have so much faith in him when he has been our manager for only 6 games? i'm not wanting to say that i dislike him because i haven't had enough time to make a judgement of him but you are overreacting with the positives that have come from him and what you have heard of him to this point. what you are thinking is an illusion for me and for you to say you would be happy for us to be relegated with him is pathetic

Why is Gregan the only player that gets analysed so much? Not saying he doesnt have his faults, but some people on here go to great lengths to try and prove how bad he is when there is much worse in our team. Give me Gregan over Hazell any day.
i cannot understand why sean gregan appears to get more criticism than reuben hazell. likewise i cannot understand why reuben hazell was player of the season last season, when for me it was certainly sean gregan

i can sympathise with the decision that has been made. in 2007/8 i went to 14 manchester city home games. it was good to watch the premier league and the prices were better than latics. however, i still had a latics season ticket and went to 13 away games. if the season ticket needs a buyer i am interested

I know it's optimistic but there's obviously a good number of us concerned with the prospective aesthetics of the new stadium, this is what my idea is regarding. for example, some have spoken of no corners in the stadium. I was just thinking of what we could do to influence what we want to.
