hughes and davies are both key to success!! from what i've read about williams and the fact we've signed somebody so young and whilst injured - somebody must really rate him!! he looks big and strong and much older than 17 and i can't see us not using him when fit - even people on the scum boards reckon he's been a bit unlucky to have been released from there!! o'grady i think will be used from the bench, lewis did nothing wrong last season as did smalley - so maybe still in plans somewhere - but reserve football will be no good - leaving wolfy! wolfy still not sure about - too small etc - but hey - he had a blinder at wolves in the cup! BUT do we need 7 strikers!!!

seems like we have nothing to lose by giving only 12 month contract!! but am still worried about this leftside/creative midfielder problem!! i think the left back could be solved with what we have ie stam and maybe lomax leaving reuban and greegs in at centre half - but we have got to get a wellens/kilkenny type for the creativity in the middle!!

it reports in the chron tonight that the loss of 2 major sponsors as a massive financial blow!! HILLSTONE STILL OWE A 5 FIGURE SUM! if that's the case why can we not ditch them and look for new sponsor - i know the implications with the shirts - but surely if somebody else can be found , it would at least reduce losses!! surely we owe HILLSTONE nothing - it is they that owe us! we are not being sponsored by one of their other companies - it is the one that is in administration!! the problem with horners is slightly different as they provide the company vehicles - it will now cost oafc to provide the same cars !! is it only me that thinks this way!!!

oafc1955 you make some good points but i can also see holes in your argument!! for instance , what would happen if no segregation and there was trouble! who would take the blame and also who would be punished!!!!

can't wait for leeds - don't care how much to be honest as it's unfortunately my first game !! very bad planning for family holiday again, seems to happen every year!!!

my 3 teams to watch - not including us of course - are huddersfield , brighton and now after yesterdays proceedings southend!! i think they have all strengthened considerably from last season and will all be up there fighting!!
