i suggest people won't be bothering till we see some quality coming in! AND some of the names being banded about on here are certainly no better than we've had for the last couple of years!!! sorry for the pessimism, but i can only see a large fall in season ticket numbers - let's hope i'm wrong!!!

i'm a little perplexed at the stick davies seems to be getting!! for me he has the makings of being a top class championship player! ok - he can be a little eratic at times - but his pace alone is worth his place in any starting line up! teams tend to double up on pacy players , leaving space for players who have a bit of nouse - hughesy!! i do agree he is desperate for a goal at the moment and the punishment he received for a ridiculous sending off was completely justified ! but, like others - i thought he played great saturday with hopefully more to come!!

i would have thought this was the last position we need strengthening - unless we have injuries we don't yet know about!! more than happy with hughes/davies partnership with o'grady and lewi on the bench!! - but hey - who am i to question shez at the moment - he's doing a great job!!

we seem to here mumblings of how the crowd could be greater - thus increasing revenue!! well, the club could generate a few extra grand by having enough food to meet the demand!! in the 5 games so far , the rre has run out of pies and hotdogs BEFORE the half time rush - surely not a good commercial decision!! also, can we not have the bookies that was in the lookers stand, opening up in the rre - the club must take a percentage of both this and the food - and therefore increasing club revenue!!!! just a thought - what do you all think?

i agree guernica!! i know the stats say that lids is a provider of a lot of our goals but i actually think his crossing is absolutely p--s poor and always has been!! the number of times he hits the 1st defender is unbelieveable - and all because he can't beat his man!! i personally can't see him playing much this season - but not bad to be fit and on the sidelines waiting i suppose!!

bigfin, you've still got to be able to pick a pass whether it's oldham sunday league or champions league and we had no one doing it last season hence the :censored: football we played!! and all i said was i've never known whittaker pass us off park or be too prominent in games against us over past few seasons- and also like i said , maybe i could be wrong!!!!
