Cover price £2. Match ticket's where also issued for some seats. 18 July 2009 New Mills v Oldham Athletic XI Youth/reserve team game Match was postponed because of waterlogged pitch last on but a 16 page programme was produced with a cover price of £1. 21 July 2009 Macclesfield v Oldham Athletic First team game. Triple game 16 page programme for games against Latics, Tranmere Rover and Huddersfield Town. Cover Price £1. Match ticket's where also issued for some seats. 25 July Conwy United v Oldham Athletic Youth team game 8 page programme with Latics team to be announced - no cover price. 28 July Stalybridge Celtic Reserve team game. This was originally schedule to be a first team game but the last arrangement of the Middlesbrough friendly down graded this to a reserve game. Single sheet - copied - costing 50p. Full Latics team was printed - good job as it helped with all the trialists. 29 July Ashton United v Oldham Athletic Youth Team game Postponed because of waterlogged pitch about 90 minutes before game tiem - No programme produced. Triple game 20 page programme issued for the home friendlies with Sunderland (5 July) Middlesbrough 29 July and Blackpool 1 August - cover price £2 01 August 2009 Buxton v Oldham Athletic XI Youth Team game. Postponed because of waterlogged pitch about 11.30 minutes before game time - No programme produced. 04 August 2009 Salford City v Oldham Athletic XI Reserve/Youth team game Single sheet programme - hand written then copied - the sheet is a copy of the press association information sheet which the home club fax to the news agencies after the game. A OWTB board member was kind enough to send me a copy of his team sheet and then 2 weeks later the same sheet arrived from Salford City. Thats a full rundown of the pre-season games - anything I have missed please let me know. Tickets for the home friendlies wanted please.

FA Cup third round that went to 2 replays. 8429 is the listed attendance. Cambridge programmes with 3 prices for the game at 10p 30p and 50p - probably because they couldnt charge for admission on a Sunday.

Have a copy of that programme on DVD bout half a hour - Ron Atkinson & his brother playing for oxford!

The first team where listed as having a friendly at Bower Fold tomorrow at 19.30. Assume this will now be a reserve team game but a nice ground to visit and its only a fiver to get in. Gary

FYI I have just updated the shirts page on the Museum de Latique website to include 14 shirts picked up recently. Including last season shirts a special shirt for swap and our first Latics Ladies shirt.

If you are unable to find a buyer for the whole collection mate I would gladly include a sales page on the MdL website if you dont want to go ebay - or if you do a place where you can put your images for self hosted images - rather than pay the fees.

It is 7 weeks since it was posted on these boards that the flag couldnt be used because of its condition. No one has bothered. I just dont want it to sit and rot. Has the time of large flags passed - like the inflatable's craze. Looks good to other stands but do those actually underneath it enjoy it?. The lack of enthusiasm speaks volumes.

Far as I know the match safety officer will no longer allow the flag to be used because of its condition. So its sitting at BP going to ruin. I think it would be a shame to let that happen. Lets preserve it for the future - maybe exhibitions at the library or for a "museum" at the club (Nothing planned as far as I know). Once it is gone though it is gone. I would like to have it for the MdL. I have lots of room in my attic and I think my collection will be donated the club in the future anyway. Alternatively someone else store it - as long as it is not destroyed.

Not unique - we did that one season for a FA Cup game - then the winner got home and away sponorship for the rest of the season
