Im not sure whether Tope is an asset (last 15 mins today, running with ball, taking ball forward into corners) or a very poor league 1 player. He has pace and some strength, but apart from two games that i can remember he has been very very poor, todays cameo not included, he did a good job when he came on going forward. As you say, today Wellens got it right. Two up top helps, was Nazon injured or tactical?.

No doubt about it, he was all that you mentioned today. Being slightly cautious about it because i hope he continues in the same vein. Thought he looked tricky going forward when he did also.

I agree today. Hopefully he can maintain his standard much like our keeper (gets stick on here which sometimes is unfounded) and not be a Menig who flattered to decieve somewhat.

Decent half that. Really good strike by Dummy. Pitch is a mire so no problem with the way we are playing. Hit front early and play from there. Davies is being a pest today which is good to see. Nazon isnt afraid to take them on so if they push up he seems likely to exploit the space if we can find the ball to him, unlucky when he was put through, felt the shot lacked power. Agree with Lesslovers post. He needs to find a side of players that complement eachothers strengths and not overload the team with midfielders who dont work together.

No, give him a chance to get it right. I dont see him being able to do so but would like to be proven wrong. See who comes in before window. Think his position is under question though, no doubt about that as 1 win in 13 games doesnt make for good reading.

Abysmal result, terrible performance against a side we needed to beat. Feel this is the season we end up in league two, have left it very late for new signings. Rubbish first half. Defending for first goal was laughable, stood and watched. Is McLaughlin even on the pitch? Non existant, Gardner walking around as well with blinkers on. Nepo clearly not a left back, seems slow and laboured today. Pitch not helping his first touch. We have no shape and clearly miss hunt and a left sided midfield man- is Gardner supposed to be playing that role? This is true of todays game, some of the decision making is clearly lacking. He was a passanger today. Seems neat and tidy but whoever passed the ball to him got it straight back. He doesnt seem to put his foot on it or have a look, even run with it, maybe a confidence thing with him. Hopefully if he continues to play he improves.
