Very open game. Few decent efforts we had. Think Pringle should have scored, no right foot maybe!! Dummy just screwed 1 wide. Byrne has slotted back in, Bryan a bit rusty maybe, looks a bit ropey, put them through but Jonny made a good save 1-1. Benyu looks neat and tidy but not involved enough through general play or looking the ball. We have gotten into some good attacking positions. Dummy ever learns how to cross a ball we have some player, gets himself into great crossing areas and hits the first man or daisy cuts it to no one!! Tope always seems flat footed to me, fails to anticipate much. Good game.

Bryan and Byrne looks like they wont be playing, not registered yet acvording to Wellens or is our manager playing a fast one again!!

That was not pretty. Thought both teams were dire. Conditions played a massive part in that i would say. Was to be expected. Pattern of the game was hoof then free kick or offside, rinse and repeat!! They had 1 shot all game maybe? MOM has to be the ball, it got the shit kicked out of it today!! Would of given it to young George. Fane played well so cant argue with that. At least we didnt lose today. Get players registered and few more in and move up the table again.

That half was like watching pinball. Two very direct teams. Not alot of football being played. Pitch maybe playing a part in that. The lad from Celtic looks okay, Benyu is it? Looks tricky with a bit of pace. Pringle has had a couple of nice touches and looks to be bombing forward to support attacks. Good goal from us, nice routine. Hope Davies kicks on and finds his form again from early Wellens late Shez time. If he smacks the chance from the open net with the venom he hits the set play, he scores twice!! Defence looked a bit dodgey after the Rotherham goal. Doing okay. Gerrard was piulled out wide for it the but what annoyed me was he didnt really make an effort to get back into position and they scored. We can win this, just need the breaks.

Davies has been awful for around the last 5-6 games. How many times already has he been offside, the finish for the open net was a disgrace.

This is a fair description of him in my opinion, last few starts he has done nothing wrong, he won a pen, apart from that as you described.

Really hope hes signed and plays tomorrow! Need a win badly and much better chance of it if hes involved. Getting a bit optimistic again!!

Thought he done nothing wrong today, based on the actual game itself and only this game Harry. Not saying he is the answer Rigsby but today he done well. I would be shocked when you decide to praise a player rather than the usual hes terrible you seem to post.

Could of had a draw, could of lost by more. Second half, same as the first. Effort but no end product, never looked dangerous going forward, didnt believe we would score. Tope came on, needs to run direct and not round in circles, try not to beat a man 5 times before a pass or cross. Maouche looks like he can pass a ball. Green played well as did Holloway. Fane looks like one of the most composed players we have with the ball at his feet, never thought i would say that. Davies, slight improvement second half. Our crossing on a whole is awful. Some short passes today were falling short of the man. If this takeover doesnt happen soon and new players dont come in, i believe we are fuked. Poor run doesnt seem to be ending anytime soon. Keeper has made two decent saves of Holloway. So many lucky blocks. Wish we had someone who could cross a fucking ball. Also not impressed how Charlton players have been throwing themselves to the ground. What else to expect from the prick of a manager they have.

Think the plan today was to be tight and try not to concede which is fair enough considering we lost our best def, mid and forward. The Charlton goal was individual skill, still think Jonny could of done better? Probably should of saved it. What has happened to him, he impressed me with his hold up play and work rate even under Shez, Bristol Rovers away comes to mind but its all gone to piss. My thoughts exactly... danced by 3 of them. Jonny beat at his post. Holloway to his credit is trying, Davies going through the motions, has won nothing and his movement has become really poor.

Why not give Duffus a go from the start, wont be the answer i wouldnt think to the Doyle problem but i think we need two up top. Tope could play there but he hasnt been good in 3 games. I assume McEleney will play Byrnes role, lets hope hes a goodun!

We clearly miss Doyle and his goals but i dont think that even he would have had a sniff today with the way we played. We were very poor.

Different teams, different times i suppose. One thing is for sure we were attacking and high scoring before he came. Obviously no one will know why we have changed so drastically, he is a possibility in my eyes as to why we are playing as we are anyway.

To be fair the defence has been leaking goals all season. Poor defending cost us again today. In saying that i think there is a clear change in tempo and mentality of the side. Why would Wellens change what was getting him results, although leaving us very open we were winning games and worrying teams putting them on the back foot with our attacking nature. We passed quick, we were sharp and played with intent. This has changed over recent weeks. New formation, slower methodical pace, 1 up top, hoof ball today, somthing has clearly changed Wellens and his way of thinking. I suppose Jewells influence could be the reason for this surely??

That was dire. Worst first half under Wellens and we have conceded more in other games. There was no passing, no direction in our play, no fluidity and that formation we played is ridiculous. Second half not much better, Changes made no difference today. We were awful on a whole, Byrne came close and tried second half, Gerrard was unlucky with the header but nothing clear cut. We have went from creating chances for fun to this.... whats the record since Jewell came in?? Byrne in second half, Gerrard and Bryan done okay, the rest were below par to say the least. Tactics, tempo and formation changes have killed us really. Getting men into the box, Hunt and Dummy bombing forward, seems like its not the case anymore. 1 up top and today it was hoof ball. Remember the sharp crisp passing and movement away at Pompey. WTF has happened. Panic button for me today was almost pressed, we need a win from somewhere and quick. They were first to everyrhing and second balls, we were bullied and out muscled today, even Fane was out muscled and knocked of the ball. Fair play to them, hope they go up. Need takeover and loans sorted so we can move on and sort our shit out. MOM- no idea.
