Hard to stay positive after that. Should of been out of sight. Doyle not firing is costing us, id bank on him with any chance but lately its not happening for him. Still in our own hands to stay up but its going to be mighty close. Ref was shocking.

Very poor result in context of our relegation battle. Better second half but if we are going to stay up we need wins. They offered nothing second half and we couldnt get through. Walsall keeper made a couple of good saves and we had one cleared of the line from a corner. At the end of the day if we dont start hitting the net and taking some chances we will go down. Think Fane had a stand out display, he gets my MOM, broke up play and tackled well. Moimbe needs signed up for next season, think hes been very good and played well tonight again. Jonny kept us in it first half. If we stay up, we need to get a balanced side and play players in the position they actually play. Feel we have a lot of James Milners in the side, play everywhere but favoured position. Someone posted about 2 number 10's playing wide, spot on in my opinion, makes us narrow and congested, Moimbe provides width when he can as does hunt, we cut inside even at that an awful lot. Move on and hope for wins to come.

To be honest you could pick any of the midfield when outside the area, McEleney must have ni right foot, he cut inside and went sidewards when easier to shoot, move broke down.

I actually enjoyed that- maybe in the minority it seems!! Thought it was very open and end to end. We got ourselves into some great areas and choked, tried the wrong pass and showed a lack of composure. We were slow at times when a quick counter with the right pass would of gotten us in. Would of taken a point beforehand although i feel we could of had 3 today, just the right pass was missing. Think on another day we get at least one pen, not sure who broke into the box for the second shout but it looked a pen, why fall if your through? (My logic anyway). Thought the reshuffle at the back was going to hurt us but it actually worked pretty well. Thought the back line coped okay. We move on. Still in our own hands. On a side note was it Byrne who seemed to be mouthing at someone from Oxford just outside the tunnel at full time?

Needed that. Byrne comes on with a goal and an assist. Made the difference today did Byrne. Dug in second half. Think Bryan defended well today. His passing was wayward at times but he fought for everything and to me showed some fight, goal a side young George did okay, took a yellow like a pro and needed to at that moment in time. Moimbe is very solid and decent going forward and defending. Hunt looks like something is a miss, maybe just lacking match fitness, struggled to clear at time with no power behind it. Doyle missed 2 guilt edge chances but all is forgiven with the winner! Gardner worked very hard today. Thought he played well. McEleney did okay, played it safe, few great balls into the box. Still dont know what to make of Pringle? Fane much improved today. We move on, much needed win. MOM Bryan/Gardner or Byrne for his cameo, cant decide.

Second half maybe bring the Duck or Holloway on for Davies and knock ball down the side of Burn, dont fancy him being turned round and dealing with pace. Jonny made a few good saves, feel we our lucky to only be 1 down. We have had half chances, so think we could nick a goal if we keep it tight. This today was garbage. Last week we got away with it. Not one player played well, fully deserved to lose. Didnt test the keeper really, says it all. Sidewards and backwards passing at a snails pace in these conditions.... no idea what the plan was with that. Can someone please tell Byrne we are not fukin Arsenal so stop trying to play through the middle of 8 players, when whoever he passes to has clearly no chance at all. The amount of times he went sidewards and backwards and slowed us today was criminal. Not his type if game today. Not saying hes not a good player, just not good today. Started with the wrong line up today i feel, McLaughlin in my opinion shouldnt start again as he brings nothing. What has happened to Nepo? Forwards had nothing to go on. Midfield rubbish and Jonny and Bryan with a rare poor display. Pretty angry watching that, we need a firm kick up the ass and some balance to the team. MOM- the fukin snow, had a blinder.

Would throw Holloway and Duck on for start of second half, to replace anyone of them. Forwards havent been in the game bar 1 effort from Doyle from a Davies through ball. Dont think McLaughlin has played well for us for a very long time and because hes playing Byrnes on the left?? Doesnt make sense. Much better effort needed to even get a sniff from this game.
