Is anyone even bothered?

It doesn't mean that the majority would see 15th as a roaring success.
depending on the outcome of the window 15th may well be exactly that.
We desperately need at least 4 more incoming transfers to remain competetive.

Just when you think you've seen the daftest post of the season, along comes another one.
He has a point, a lot of people are so used to mediocrity it has become the norm.

OK.....next time make it £100.....and keep lifting it until the idiot learns.....let's see who breaks first.
Not sure how having a sneaky fag relates to stupidity.
I happen to like reading messages such as those that came out of Fulham's Forums praising our support....what I don't want to read are those that want to give the idiot with no shirt a good kicking next time he comes to their club.
I am proud of this club and 99.9% of it's fans but he does not represent me with his behaviour.
I am not condoning his behaviour Mike,i just thought it was an excessive punishment.

He's been a knobhead for a few years now and must have been thrown out of a few games, not forgetting the number of times he stands front and centre antagonising the opposition's fans......at what point does it sink in that continually acting like a tw*t is not a good career move.
A £50 fine isn't going to turn him in to an angel, wonder how much the fines will be for all those smoking in the toilets ?
Will be rolling in dollars soon

Or put him in the stocks and pelt him with rotten food

So he was in this room on his own, was he?
Somebody on here will have seen what went on.
I wouldn't trust him with a bog-brush let alone a paint brush.
He's a young lad Mike, they make mistakes and act like dicks at times.
maybe just a little more leniency than whack him with a fine like that

Do you know the full circumstances?
none of us do,maybe Topon should have a word with the supporters liaison officer and see if it can be quashed or at least he could work it off rather than stump up fifty quid.

Except that’s not the regulation. Each club must name 7 home-grown players in their match day squad. Given there are 18 in the squad that means 11 don’t have to be home-grown.
As Iversen has been registered with Leicester since Jan 2016, he may now be home-grown. As home-grown doesn’t include a player’s nationality.
See https://www.efl.com/-more/governance/efl-rules--regulations/section-5--fixtures/ (33.8 to 33.13)
Thank you so much for taking time to read through all that
please accept my apologies for being mistaken

Why?
Maximum 7 overseas players in a matchday squad

I think based on the previous signings the owner and sporting director and making the signings not the manager.
Indeed, but if you noticed yesterdays team included.....
Iversen
Missilou
Branger
Nepo
Maouche
Sylla
Zeus
No room for any more frenchlads. not even if we were loaned a Griezman or Mbappe.
Any signings from now need to be UK or replacements for what we already have.
-
Could be a bit tricky this window, no manager in place yet which we desperately need.
If Wild was to be given the job until the end of the season,we have a man at the helm with no contacts and no experience of player recruitment.
Would we be reliant on the Sporting Director to bring in new talent or just the ?
Their knowledge of the English market i feel may be questionable and just to compound matters further an EFL team can only have a maximum of 7 overseas players in a matchday squad.
Where do all signings come from?

Dave Flett, the reporter, was interviewed on bbc radio York and when asked about other candidates (ie rather than Steve Watson) and in particular Askey said (I can’t quote precise words but it was more or less this) “I’ve been told by sources inside the club that both he (Askey) and another former League 1 manager were considered but Steve Watson was very much the man that stood out”
That seems like a rejection for whatever reason , whether financial or anything else.
Do you remember when the Dazzler was the standout candidate for the BP job?
Not saying you are wrong but clubs can be somewhat economical with the truth
-
Just can't for the life of me understand how some think we should have won !
We were very very fortunate to get a point from that game, only one mom candidate and that is Iversen.
FGR are not all that, yet we stood off them for 45 minutes allowing them chance after chance.
Better in the second half but we could easily have lost by 3 or 4 goals.

There is only one argument against making him permanent. Wellens. And if Wellens had not happened we'd have been all clamouring. Funnily enough, I don't think PW is as easily distracted, so it could work.
I have an argument, Who is Pete Wild in football terms???
Would you give the top job at your work to a complete novice?
we all like the guy but come on,let's just get a bit real !!!

Forget about promotion?
We're 5 points of a play off, with a game in hand over some around us.
Carlisle were 13th and below us on 8th Dec. 5 wins on the boiunce later. They are 7 pts ahead.
You're no Pete Wild.Just being realistic, 5 points off a playoff is not promotion candidate.
we are also 5 points off 15th place !
We have lost players,we have no manager and the club owner is alledgedly skint.
I am indeed no Pete Wild,he is paid to be positive we all would be the same if our livelihood depended on it !

Already the 11th January. Lose tomorrow and we’re back to square one. Hoping the FA Cup win hasn’t blinded Abdallah and the staff to the task at hand.
No signings bar one who is going to need time to fit in like Missilou, Maouche etc..
Could get royally stuffed tomorrow. Think there’s only 14 who we know are fit and we’ve probably lost two of them because they’re all made of glass.
A loss tomorrow will will probably kick Abdallah into gear but he should have got the ball moving this week, not next. Every point counts if we have any aspirations of promotion.
Forget about promotion KIG, that boat sailed a long time ago.All about planning for next year now.
Obviously it would be advantageous financially to get a few more quid from the FA cup but that is a long shot.
The will be looking to bring in more foreigners to plug the gaps in the squad, not sure a new manager would have any means of recruiting from the english game anyway ( unless they came FOC )
I am going for a draw Saturday by the way

Diane Mellor is your Trust representative who has been nominated to be on the board of OAFC 2004 at the AGM.
She has passed fit and proper persons tests to be a legal board director of the business but has put on hold taking the position up for the time being. No conspiracies here, just waiting for Al to announce his other board members. Al knows this but recognises her as the Trust rep and dialogue continues between them
Thank you for the explanation, whilst not yet on the board the lady has contact with the owner so at least you ( the trust ) have a line of communication

Well with the transfer window only open a few more weeks surely a new manager will want to put his stamp on the squad maybe with a few ins and outs? If he’s allowed that is!
One would think that the appointment is a matter of urgency, unless Mr Wild is to be given the rest of the season .

How long to people think the managerial position will drag on before it’s filled?
It will take forever Paul, everything must be done slowy slowy in order to catch the right monkey for the job.

There could be some truth in this lad signing
His uncle Tony, a decent midfielder actually played for us in the 80's.
