Childrens tv finished eh marra....
Ps,don't disregard the potential volatility of this particular owner/manager relationship.
You are a smart operator Max,you know the chances of this going wrong are high.
That said,if you don't buy a ticket,you don't win the raffle.

Yeah, he has quite an understanding of events unfolding at BP,you could learn a lot from that young man and a few more of his ilk Peter!

I don't think that's been established anywhere, just suggested in one or two posts that it's the case. I've not read anything about folk being happy with it.
I don't think we need to understand it; just be thankful that he is (as far as we know) going to take it on as it could be the best thing that has happened to the club for a long time.
Point 1, Kusunga told us this was the case and he has his finger on the pulse.
Point 2, Nice in theory but in practice working for the I really do fear the worst.

No, but this season is only just over half way through. PS still has a chance of the play offs. If we don't make it he will definitely be going for it next season. All managers want to succeed, but he has a reputation to keep. He will no doubt pack it in if he fails, because he is just not used to failing.
I am assuming here that he is our new manager as it now seems that it is the only logical reason for no-one else to have been appointed yet.
Your sense of optimism is admirable but I have seen nothing to suggest we can secure a play-off spot, let alone achieve promotion.
This proposed appointment looks like a desperate and maybe expensive attempt to boost the profile of owner and club.
it definitely doesn't look like a long term thing and I still can't quite understand Scholes motivation for taking it on.
-
Does anyone really believe that Scholes would be happy with the projected 15th place finish?
As we have already established many supporters are more than happy, but Scholes is more used to winning shit than being brainwashed into thinking that avoiding relegation is a great achievement.

You're dropping our Player of the Season (as things stand)?
Haha, yes.replacing your player of the season with someone who will hopefully whip an early cross in rather than checking back 5 times before being dispossessed.

They approached the Trust, we originally thought it might be around setting up the fans bar in the Royle stand, but alas it was not.
I will presume as the majority of successful businesses, they do have a future plan in place with regards to them being landlords of BP. However, we are not at that stage of the relationship they are going to tell us what it is as it will be commercially sensitive stuff, and emotive stuff as well.
Your last paragraph, yes they could evict us and if any other landlord tennant situation they have the legal right too...but lets face it being the tennant being a football club, they would have quite a few thousand not so happy fans, fellow business owners on their backs and the council. (Well i hope we would)
so back to your first paragraph, this is probably their first/most recent engagement with fans. Its a time maybe to ask that question and maybe then based on their answers, we can then set up another Q and A specifically on a topic if need be.
Is a chance for the fans to get your questions in....rather than the Trust asking our own questions then getting hammered for doing a Q and A and NOT getting you all involved.
Maybe they are weighing the trust up as a potential tenant for when the desert rat has shot through.

If Scholes is appointed in Feb, I'd say that there's a big chance he'd be gone by the summer.
I still can't figure out why he would want the job, surely Bunn must have put him straight. It's a hiding to nothing.

Its not the worst idea you’ve come up with... however, a Plan for the future of Oldham Athletic 2004 Ltd would be much better presented to the owner of that business, as opposed to the owners of Brassbank Limited and Oldham Event Centre Limited. I shall nonetheless ensure I pose as many suitable & poignant questions as I can muster through the Trust. Congrats to all at the Trust who have got this on.
Maybe B!itz and Gazal could ask for you Andy, they have more contact with than the trust.

128 pages after LJ left and Kelly was appointed in May. I dont think we'll hit those heights unless the Scholes deal somehow falls through.
This soap opera has overtaken the playing side with considerable ease.
