  1. Seriously? I think you'll find that state and country are synonymous.
  2. No end to mass immigration then. Thanks for clearing that up. Might have been useful for the remain campaign if they'd pushed that point a bit.
  3. Well the only continents I haven't visited are Australia and Antactica so I've been about a bit. My point wasn't about travel it was about living and working. One of the key arguments for Brexit was around uncontrolled mass immigration from Europe, to use the populist vernacular "coming here and stealing our jobs." Is freedom to live and work in any of the 28 states compromised by Brexit or not? If not then a lot of people have just voted for something they're not going to get.
  4. Completely accept the result, just a pity that the winners don't have a :censored:ing clue what to do now.
  5. I have to say I agree with that. Absolute non starter. Anyway the Brexit camp are now not only saying that the savings (if they exist) will not only not go on the NHS but that immigration may well not change at all. Liam Fox is also saying there should be a "period of reflection" before considering invoking Artcle 50. Proof that these people really have no plan and expected to register a protest only. Now they've won they haven't got a :censored:ing clue what to do. And the people voted for this *shakes head*
  6. Really? So it will make no difference to immigration using that argument. More Leave lies then.
  7. Hilarious. Like the people who bought the extra £350m a week for the NHS bollocks.
  8. Maybe they voted for unfettered access to live and work in Paris, Barcelona, Munich or Milan. Rights they have now been denied by those too old to consider such things, we should hang our heads in shame.
  9. Young ones voted to stay in because they know nothing better. Round of applause for that one fella, Goebbels at his finest.
  10. Might have been better if Craig Cash had written it and not acted in it. He deserves another chance for the wonderful Early Doors.
  11. Especially if it's Boris, he changes his mind on the EU with some regularity and he didn't look too pleased to have won.
  12. I don't regularly invoke Lou Reed but those who think today is a "perfect day" need to remember the last line of that particular song.
  13. Indeed. Winding up order one week creating completely unnecessary and expensive roles the next. I blame Corbyn.
  14. Questionable about Corbyn to say the least. No idea why you think Farron should go I would imagine the Lib Dem support voted staunchly in favour of Remain.
  15. So the swivel eyed loons have it. Good luck everybody you're going to need it.
  16. So 1 last season and 1 this season. As he said not many.
  17. I should hope so! Just checked the fixtures from that season, we played good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday winning all 3. Rovers was the Saturday, southport home and away on Friday and Monday, the latter being my 10th birthday!
  18. Visiting Bristol Rovers at Easter worked out pretty well in 1974 ;) Think that was the Saturday though.
  19. Do Adams and Bunn count as names? If not for their playing exploits here they wouldn't would they? The problem they've got now is that they almost got a manager with a proven track record so they've suddenly raised expectations. I think the feeling is that if they now go with unproven manager all remaining goodwill will erode so they're focusing on trying to get somebody with something approaching a track record. They may well sound out some of the bigger available realistic names - Adkins perhaps.
  20. I'm afraid once again the people running this club display little or no ability to get anything right. People make mistakes I get that, it's the constant dithering and indecisiveness that leads us to lurch from 1 crisis to the next.
