    Did anyone listen to talk sport at 16:30, Adrian Durham and Matt Holland. Durham absolutely slated scholes and really put us down as a club. Probably all for a reaction which he has got on Twitter. My blood was boiling listening to him.

    Nothing in football lasts long these days. I don't know how old you are or how long you have watched latics. I have watched since 1976, Others longer than me. Other than the Royle era and the odd cup upset its been pretty pants. If you weren't witness to the Royle era i can tell you it was fantastic. I feel for the younger fan and sort of understand were you are coming from. So onto now, any chance of something big, we should grasp because it might be a long time before something similar comes along, if ever. If it doesn't work, so what, at least we gave it a shot.

    And so would some premier league/ championship clubs, we have to be realistic here, especially Greenwood, some UTD fans saying he should be given a go at first team. Hope I am wrong because that would be a huge statement.

    I feel for Pete wild after that interview. That's the first time I've seen / heard him like that. I genuinely hope he has a job to go back to. I normally need convinced with facts but after last night I'm coming round to the theory that certain players are in the team against the managers will. If scholes comes in things have to change.

    Maouche is a good technical player who needs better players in front of him. Baxter was a good player and if fully fit would do a job but for now Maouche is streets ahead of him.

    3 or 4 players may be a big ask, 2 forwards in could mean we really push for that play off spot. Season is far from over, loads to play for yet.

    I respect your opinion but I disagree. 2 new decent forwards and players in their best positions would see a massive change in fortunes. The squad has some decent players for this level they just need to be played in a way that makes us a threat going forward. I think going forward is our main area of concern, goalkeeper is fine, defence is fine, midfield is fine also, up top we have nothing.

    2 good players off being a force in this division. Fine margins, consistency and confidence along with scholes to teach them basic football.
