  7. If we are to do the breaki, then the main pick up point will be the Grey Horse, so this will mean arranging your own travel down there or arranging a pick up with beardy. Just To Clarify! The above is an option, and i would prefer it if all people involved could let their feelings be known! It is a FREE full english, you just have to buy a couple of drinks.
  8. Yeah, the Grey Horse said it's down to us now if we want to go in and they'll put a breakfast on for us all
  9. TBH I don't think we can be looking at many strikers saying they're definatly not what we need; espcially players of Constaine's quality and goal scoring record. IF you look at the strikers we currently have they are Davies and Wolfenden. Yes, Porter is still on the books but it looks pretty certain he'll be off, also we don't know as of yet if Hughes will be let out. So of the 2 we are certain to have in the squad this season; Wolfenden - Not going to score goals at this level and is never going to come on and change the game at this level. Davies - Looks a good prospect but isn't really tried at this level. Hughes - will he still have it????? SO, IMO someone like Constantine is a pleyer we should definatly be looking at. We have all maoned and goaned for a few years now that what we lack is pace, players like Constantine, Byfield are players with that certain attribute and it seems they are both available. I'm not desputing the fact that we may need a big target man such as Clarke, but why not have both???? If we're really looking at promotion again this year then we will need 5-6 good strikers, with 4 in the matchday squad who can really make a difference. Maybe even, taking a gamble into the non-league, irish leagues? payed off for Reading with Doyle and look at him now! Last time we did that was with a certain Mr Andrews and Mr HAll both of whom turned out to be great signings. Melia
  10. Picked Eardley just because of how Lomax was skinned by some Chesterfield player in the tin pot cup!
  11. You'll also have the full voice of the Paddock Army! WHO ARE WE!
  12. Would of done but i'm on holiday when the game takes place! Shame I could of signed my contract after the match!
  13. He'll be in big brother by ten o'clock!
  14. Are we all forgetting something here?? He is serving his time whether it was long enough or not. Also are you forgetting what a top player Lee Hughes was???? PLus i'm sure he'll come for free and on tupance wages! Give the guy a chance!! He could be a big find, how many clubs out there would have him now he's been brought to attention?? Quite a few me thinks.
  15. Still we had more than a few players who were hitting the 10 goal mark or so. So that's a good return from other players chipping in.
  16. Apologies if I put us on a downer now, but the 2003 team pishes all over this one! For starters, you have a back 3 or sometimes 4 that hardly ever made mistakes, were commanding and pacey. You had a midfield that also had pace, fight and quality, plus the added extra of John Eyres best ever season.Tony Carss when fit was outstanding, as was josh Low who had pace to burn. Up front no contest again, pace power and goals. They frightened the living day lights out of defenders. The main difference is pace, power and fitness thats what they had that we are seriously lacking at present. The question you should be asking is, out of this team which players owuld of made the starting 11 in the 2003 team?? My only answer is Porter, and maybe Wellens.

    Uplifting!

click the link, just shows you what we are capable of and brings a smile to your face!
  18. I support your post but I think it can only be made more exciting within moderation. However on the odd occasion we do hear Keegans roar or Atkinson's bite! IT's rather exciting! If we had to put up with that after everygame from every other manager, it wouldn't be as excting as hoped!
  19. I'd have to agree with Sheephead, I thought stam was superb before his injury! I know a lot of people are voting for Warney for his effort alone and yes it's what is required, however he lacks that killer pass or final touch that may be required for promotion, i'm not sayin Warney shouldn't be player of the season but I think a lot of people are forgetting a certain ginger boy who has put just as much effort and passion into this season..........
  20. Im going Brentford but no sod all about pubs down there so i'll just go with the flow if everyone is meeting up! Mynes a Tetleys!
  21. Poggy has had an exellent season. He's by far the best in the division and he's an asset to our squad. A keeper is only as good as the defence in front of him. Think back to Bradford when we had to win to stay up Poggy showed what he's all about. Yes he's made very few mistakes this season, but he's made far less than anyone else.
