  1. I'm booking a 2 week holiday in Mexico for next year and, for several reasons, need to go between the 28th April and mid to late May.

If I go 28th April I'll miss the last two games

If I go, eg, 9th May, I'll be at the last 2 games but would miss some or all of the playoffs if we were in them

Or are we gonna be safely tucked in mid table with no danger of going up or down by then??

    What would you do?

Miss the last 2 league games becuase we are not going up automatically, also you would be back for the play-offs if we were to make them!

  2. The first half was the single best performance I think I've ever seen from a Latics team (granted I'm only 16, and only been going regularly for 5 years, but there you go!)

10 points out of 12 ain't bad at all - even if we were to draw against Dale, 11 in 15 is promotion form in anyone's book.

I guess you never made it to the 5 nil demolition job of Nottinham forest a few years ago on new years day ;)

  3. No ! Hence why I backed Haye in 2  and never got sucked into the hype and shelled out extortionate amounts to get a ticket for the MEN or SBO.

Nice stream for me and I was still pissed off at 'em both for wasting 9 mins of my life.

I just think that, proper boxing fans apart, most of those that bought SBO or MEN tickets are complete mugs.

I know there are some proper boxing buffs out there who would have enjoyed the undercard but most of those in that arena just went for the Haye fight and would have been stood in the concourses supping during the undercard.

Did you hear haye's immediate post match interview? He basically said I waited untl the 3rd round to knock him out so that my friends and family could collect on their bets! he could be in trouble for that!

  4. I've said it before.

Were playing great fast-flowing football. Today just shows how much determination we have and how the team has a great spirit about it. I saw the huddle at the end of the game and i smiled. The team worked very hard today. Were unbeaten at home and at times were playing some of best football i've seen us play in a long long while. Get behind your team and support the almighty latics.

    Thanks.

It's times like this I am gutted to be stuck in Southend! :(

  5. I agree but I don't think they just stand briefly.

Anyways back to matchday experience I don't want to be hijacking the thread. Anymore good ideas to improve the matchday experience?

well let them stand for longer - who cares - its better than sitting in silence and waiting to be entertained that the majority of our fans do. Besides people know where this happens and should be able to find a seat in another part of the stadium where there is a no chanting policy. Get my drift ;)
