On the subject of tickets what are your memories of queing up for tickets for Wembly versus Forest (which was not too bad) or queing up ALL Saturday night for our first First Division Game for ??? years against Liverpool at Anfield
Oh Happy days
Agree with your post apart from the first 4 words. I asked Singe to conduct a optimism/ pesimism(spelling?) poll in an attempt to sort out the doom and gloom merchants on this forum.
I think that he and many others have done well
I know that things appear bleak at the moment but sincerely believe that Alan Hardy Deave Penny and off course (the TTA) have our best interest at heart
(SC looked gutted at times when fronted by negative comments from alleged fans at the North Chadderton Meeting
Still trying to figure out what I would be doing with my Saturday afternoons if they had not ridden into town (no bad how the situation appears at the moment)
By another fan I hope you do NOT mean ME
You are talking crap
I intend to talk to the club and let them know that the majority of the people that use this forum are genuine and loyal
Forgive me if I am wrong but I seem to recollect a thread started by Brf in which he asked us to hound a player out of the club
The moderators were correct and had every right to remove the topic
i am mild, calm collected cool even tempered etc etc etc.
NEVER called anyone on this or any other site but am going to make an exception to my rule
you are talking utter and complete bollox (again)
We can assume that a pre season tour next year to Singapore is out of the question
That is if the doom and gloom merchants still let us have a club to support
So this weekend like many others is full of doom and gloom
Just on my way out to do some shopping at a local supermarket
Will be wearing my Latics shirt and like many on here PROUD to show OUR colours
Keep the faith
Did not realise that there are £10 admissions to BP for matches.
Yes I do not like what I am seeing at the moment but sincerely believe that personal attacks on ANY of the people at BP are unjustified.
The only thing that we as loyal supporters can do is follow our team (preferably by putting our bums on seats) and give DP and the team our patience.
It will come good eventually
KEEP THE FAITH
I
Told (last week) by an ex Bae employee who currently drinks in the Lancaster Club that Latics will complete purchase of the property within next four weeks.
Cannot vouch for how genuine this source is
I wa born in Oldham, now back in Oldham (chadderton to be precise) but have lived in Hulme, Bolton Wythenshawe and Gorton and still followed the Latics
God have I sufferered
Now this is what I really like about this forum.
All the doom and gloom merchants have disappeared leaving those with a great sense of humour
Cheered me up no end
