Well with this scheme dean brill would be the highest paid player. he would get abused and boo'd off the pitch which creates noise which will lead to the money despencer paying out a lot of money. and seen as latics fans like nothing more than to abuse there own players brill would probably become the highest paid player in the league

Personaly think ogrady will leave at end of contract. Loaning him out must be the cheaper option. Lewi geting regular starts can only be good for us even if it is 2 leagues below. Stevens needs to be loaned out just think rochdale is the wrong club. Overall i agree with peneys judgement on the players who left on loan. Also agree with what has been said about the short term contracts for byfield a gilbert think he just wants to see them in competitive games before comiting. Imo gilbert should b signed until end of season wereas byfield should be released previding we can keep blackman until end of season. The loan signings is anyones guess. I remember peney saying he prefers long term loans as short term can be disruptive so maybe big sam didnt want to release them for that long but that seems unlikely as i cnt see them being on the brink of first team. Hope we keep both for season :censored: has improved every game upto yet and was man of match for me on sat. And kieron lee is just bewildering how can someone be too good to play for us? For me the problem is he is playin to central. He shud b huging the touch line an stretching the opposition but instead of doin that he is coming inside to much and geting crowded out. No wonder were not creating loads of clear cut chances playin with 1 make shift right winger and no one on the other side

could be like the soocer world or sports world whatever its called. they sell things dirt cheep that are genuine they jus av a bit of stitching wrong. of all the things i have bought from there i have had one item that had a visable error. and they were selling englands away kit two months after it was realeased at 7 quid so could well be genuine

Agree totaly wiv the first post. Plenty to be optomistic about. Wiv regards to the centre backs we need 1 good centre half. Greegs was best player last year and wil b close this year. Ye he will have the odd off day but who wont? If we bring in some one in to replace rubes it might encourage him to push on and rediscover the form he had before he got his contract. Rest of the team is good and stronger than last season

ah ok then ignore that bit then. didnt check was brought up at the boro game and was told this his last year. could let him go for full season with a recall then so that if we are doing well without him he will get a full season under his belt

out of contract at end of season could this be the end of lewi at latics? personally i hope he does well comes back in janruary and does well for us. cant be easy getting ten minutes here an ten minutes there. he obviously has talent just needs to rediscover it. good luck to him

well even if the figures are inaccurate it doesn't really matter it just means we will lose a few people who arnt latics fans anyway. if your not willing to travel an extra ten minutes to watch your team then your not a true fan. its not like its 50 miles like mk dons did or however far they travelled. its a hand full of extra bus stops or train stops or a few miles in the car. its the best location available and its the best thing for the club. so if we so called fans cant be arsed to travel that bit extra then fine were well rid of them once the club can survive whilst making a loss on gate reciepts we dont need people who are just going to moan for the sake of having a moan

i dont think the capacity is a reflection of our ambition i think its a reflection on the stay away fans. if you want 16000 why not 60000? we wouldn't fill that either. the capacity reflects the mindset of the people of oldham. most people dont want to go watch latics they would rather sit at home in united/city shirts watch soccer saturday an just keep an eye out for how latics do. ye we will probably get a few more fans in when we get the new ground but not a massive amount extra. an then if we go up we still wouldn't get 16000 in the only time we would get 16000 for a league game would be if were going for promotion to the prem or the play offs in the championship an even then do you think 16000 would turn up when we have a small game like plymouth. i am happy with the 12000 capacity because even that is ambitious. get the club self sufficient and looking after its self and then if the need ever arises then upgrade the stadium to a higher capacity

think he would be a decent signing but dont think he will be first choice and dont think he would be too keen to com ehere to sit on the bench. think abbot and parker will be a good partnership but we need a back up as the current back ups arnt close to being upto standard at the minute although with a bit of work from them i could be proved wrong

he has definatly been training with us today aparantly he looked very sharp so obviuosly been keeping himself fit. will no doubt be involved at some point on wednesday if we are interested

he has bruised toes they suspected it was broken but had xrays and it turned out it was just badly bruised. happened in training towards end of the week

i agree aswel i was guna ask if i ad been watching a different game some of the football we played was very good as was some of the passing specially 2nd half till the first choice forwards went off. and that was without arguably our best passer (furman). i thought, although there is obviuosly more to come, that abott played pretty well linked up with parker well and always wanted the ball. he lost it once or twice but he held it up then passed it on far more times parker looked lively worthington was very good and very aggresive again. only bad performance was hazel for me and maybe brill could have done a bit better aswel. wasnt left with much chance with the goals but got beat easily when jacobsen cleared off line and easily beat when they hit the post in 2nd half

take it your talkin bout sunderland game not the masters. ad say bout 1500 most will be in manchester drinking. wudnt be suprised if theres more latics fans at the masters tonite than turn up this after noon
