  1. brooke had a shot in the last few mins which looked like it definatly hit a hand but the power and proximity probably made it an easy decision for the ref. there did seem to be a fair fw that could have been though.
  2. i fort trotman had a poor game. did well whilst at the back but most the time he spent on the pitch he was up top and lookin completly lost an dint have a clue what he was doin and he was rightly booked you canr run around chasing the keper trying to block the kick he was rediculously over the top with it the way to do it is the way brooke did it and th way tounkara usualy does it. and disagree with your assessment of white fort he was very good one of our best players and always looked dangerous specially second hal he ran there right back ragged. stephens had one of his better games of late but his corners leave a lot to be desired he needs to start whippin them in so they can be attacked instead of floating them in
  3. has he really ripped up trees at blackpool? or has he maybe just played a few games?
  4. al be the first to be controversial then. i would sell stephens . . . if we have to bring money in. the players who are out on loan and have been made vailable will make very little difference if we get rid out of the players who are actually worth something i think stephens is the least affective and most easily replaced. ye fair enough he will probably turn into a cracking player but selling someone would be a short term move so looking short term getting rid of stephens is the best option IMO
  5. i disagree with that. dickov has to take the majority of the blame but it was the players who sat back stopped working heads went down and left our 17 year old right back with no support at all. and left there forward with the freedom of the box for the 2nd goal. said it at the game last night and it seems dickov doesnt no what to say to the team when we go in at ht in a good position. whenever we go in playing crap he obviuosly gives them a rollicking and they come out and get back into the game and lift there performance. but when we have a good firts half we come out flat and complacent e.g last night hudds (although not to the same extent), peterborough. something im sure he will learn but he seems to be a good motivater but then once motivated cant keep them there
  6. pretty much agree. all three were wrong subs to make at the wrong times. he will learn though
  7. give over. we fell to pieces and dropped two points . . . so what. its a testiment to the job dickov and the players have done this season that we tore the team appart for 45 mins and that we are dissapointed. but based on what we have seen this season why should we be pessimistic thats just a pathetic comment and you should really grow up. theres alot to be optimistic about this season especially compared to last season. we managed to score three goals in one half of a match and you think we should moan and be pessimistic typical fickle oldham fan
  8. its not quality! its a devastating blow and can ruin careers!
  9. think it was rhys evens when he was a chelsea player on loan at walsall or swindon maybe? good few yaers agon he must have pulle off at least ten top draw saves and easily kept em in it game finished nil - nil
  10. thats a really good point why dint they think of that. but just remind me again were is the money going to come from to make the club self sustainable?
  11. need a fox in the box goalscorer and probably a left back. also keep evina for the season and sign morias on a proper contract
  12. its good that hes trying new players its a freindly and surely thats what there for.jarvis at wolves should have been in though and i think kevin davies can feel dissapointed
  13. is it not because you have to exchange your ticket were you baught it and no tickets for the game were sold at the shop in the town centre. it seems obviuos really if you have read the origanl article on the website
  14. No. Would pay a tenner for the full season but not for 4 months. And would definatly pay a tenner for the everton game but would have to be full game would even stretch to 15 for that
  15. i would with big jean instead of le jean but i like it
  16. definatley agree with that. said at the time i dont remember ever applauding an away team off the pitch but to be fair all 9 of them deserved it they put everything in to trying to get a point for there team and probably deserved a point at least but good to see us acknoledge them. as for BWP i think they would probably have won had he stayed on the pitch. and what a shame we dint get him last season. might be right but im sure he was out of contract in the summer an earned a new one in the lat few months when he was ment to be with us. if he had a succesful loan we could have signed him and have a 20+ goal a season striker with pace power and a finish
  17. furman absolutly class again what a player we have on our hands. evina was very good aswel
  18. it is especialy considering me and a mate had a running row with several other 'fans' who once again completely berated brill throughout the first half until everyone put him in his place. now im used to him being blamed by many for us conceding so wasnt suprised to hear the abuse for there goal which was plymouth against brill so obviously blaming him for that must have merit but then minutes later when once again plymouth walked through he pulled off a pretty good save and once again theres shouts of 'ffs brill' and 'fu**in hell brill get a grip'. says everything about some of our fans
