  1. ......because he had no choice? There no-one else left at the club who could do it!?! He's fired everyone else.
  2. Yep..... so it could be that Marco was wispering in Scholes' ear to be careful of Pete Wild's relationship with Peter Clarke.....!?! If true, imagine how duplicitous and insidious this would present Marco as being....?
  3. ....he was talking about one of the coaches being close to a player..... as Scholes brought Priest in, it's unlikely to be him he was referring to......
  4. The coach can only be Pete Wild, Chris Millington or Steve Hale......
  5. singe.... watch Part Two of Scholes' BT Sport interview below.... Scholes says, Clarke had a go a Missilou [after Stevenage], someone [unnamed] grassed him up to Marco, Marco told Scholes to leave Peter Clarke out..... unless you're calling Scholes a liar, it's unequivocal.
  6. ....in this last 6 months, yes. Prior to that, no.... ....if we cash in on Edmundson (which I think inevitable - and he’s been far from perfect too, gives the ball away too often - but then he’s a young boy as well).... ....A back 4 of Hunt-Hamer (he’ll make a centre half one day - great in the air)-Clarke-Iacovitti/Nepo (although I prefer him further forward) would do for me. Sadly, I expect Clarke to be released & Sefil to be forced in.... and Hamer could be sold as well. Hope I’m wrong.
  7. He played 47 games for us as League One club as a 21-22yo boy. He didn’t look at all out of place. He looked very assured. Solid defensively and reasonable going forward. As a result he was linked with championship clubs, who - like some of us - could clearly see the potential. This season, he started off ok, but was dropped after the 4-1 away win at Port Vale, missed Fulham and only got back in the side when’s Scholes arrived, his form in tatters? Why? Because he’s not good enough? Nah. Because he’s a 23yo boy who’s lost his way with the circus ownership of our club. Banished to train with the kids because Marco fell out with him over his agent trying to get him out / Lincoln reportedly interested. He needs an arm round him from a manager that believes in him and the owner to keep his fkin beak out. Perversely, I think it would better for him if he leaves. When he’s playing above us in the football league pyramid. Like Eardley, Matt Smith, Kieran Lee, I’ll remind you of this little exchange.

  9. "How come someone hasn't noticed that I'm dead and decided to bury me? God knows, I'm ready!" What she said was sad but then, all the rejection she's had to pretend to be happy could only be idiocy
  10. I know - just - I was being mildly facetious, in order to have a pop at our failed and failing owners....
  11. ....but we’re not higher than Macclesfield. Thanks to a combination of Chris Moore, Simon Blitz, Danny Gazal, Simon Corney & Abdallah Lemsagam.
  12. Er, no.... I’ll take age into account as well. 23 plays 33. Next.
  13. ....because a decision can made by considering his performance over his entire contract, not just the last 6 months of it?
  14. Just for a point of reference here, 130 out of 136 votes cast [thus far] would offer him an extension.
  15. ........would he be allowed to use it much, even if he did? OR, would the fact he hasn't got one be preferable to the Lemmy's?
  16. ....whilst I don't want this, I agree with you. He just needs to be honest [for a change]......
  17. Difficult this. He's done Excellently.... and so why would I say 'No' to offering him the job? I think I'm influenced more by concern for the Lemsagam's wanting a man they feel they can control/influence more - and I'm not saying Pete Wild is malleable to their demands anymore than Frankie Bunn was - just that they [AL/ML] will want to avoid anyone they think will be confrontational to their diktats. I'd say it's nailed on they'll offer it to him - after all they've offered it to Clarke twice - and I think he'll take it, assuming he doesn't find more secure employment elsewhere/the youth set up gets disbanded in favour of the foreign legion reserves, managed by Mo. Lemsagam. Be under no illusions fellow fans.... the recent form has been a plaster over a wound. There are root and branch issues that still require challenging and I'm hoping the Trust will be able to voice our concerns firmly sooner rather than later, we can get some answers and if necessary [only when dialogue has failed], take some action. It's gonna be a worrying summer..... to quote Andy Holt [Accrington owner], we are one bad season from oblivion.
  18. Nepo, possibly. I’d like to keep him. Missile, unlikely. I’d like to keep him. Maouche, definitely not. Get rid.
  19. You think Maouche’s performances for a mid table division 4 side will mean he’s in demand?
  20. I’d give Dearnley a go if Manure don’t want him. He’s got pace and because of his education is good with the ball at his feet. Reminds me of Kieran Lee.
  21. We’re gonna need to sell to pay bills - but I’d prefer it if we didn’t sell both. I’ve opted to sell Edmundson to keep Hamer. @BP1960, what influences you to sell them both?
