  1. I'll leave it to the Trust folk themselves to explain why they surmised it in the way they did..... but I read it back straight after I read the full letter..... and while helpful to see the context of the full letter, I took no issue with the tone or facts in the Trust summary.
  2. I'm serious.... what's factually/tonally inaccurate about any of the below?
  3. It is the case Paul. As per my response to Ross above.... I also do not read anything factually or tonally different in the Trust's summary last evening, albeit it is helpful to see the original in full.
  4. ....I don't come to the same conclusion. It's helpful to see the letter in full, I agree. There is nothing that is factually and/or tonally incorrect in the Trust's response last evening.
  5. Whoa..... the Trust chose to withhold it because the ongoing litigation between Mr. Lemsagam and 3 parties listed in the letter are all unresolved..... and those 3 parties could take offence and seek further legal advice, nothing more, nothing less. I think their decision is entirely understandable.
  6. Interesting.... "The year-long inquiry focussed on suspect financial operations by sports agents on transfers, including tax evasion, money laundering and private corruption. It was only during the inquiry that investigators said they also found indications of match-fixing during last season’s relegation battle." https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/oct/10/belgian-football-clubs-raided-fraud-match-fixing-inquiry
  7. I believe Huddersfield disbanded many of their age groups/youth teams a year or two ago for similar reasons to the ones you muse about above. If it was part of a - dare I say it - a Plan or Strategy, to do as you describe and pick up all the Premier League Academy cast offs, then - regardless of whether I like it or not - I could at least understand it. However, if it's a vehicle to have a team full of Urko Vera's..... then they can fook right off.
  8. .....it's sage advice.... I'm looking forward to the cricket season for this very reason.
  9. Your kids keeping you busy Stevie.....?..... this article..... https://www.francefootball.fr/news/Abdallah-lemsagam-une-ombre-tempetueuse-entre-nantes-et-oldham/1005358
  10. On Mohamed Lemsagam's appointment as Sporting Director? .....from what I hear, he's close to completing his coaching badges and could very well end up being Head Coach before too long. To be fair, I know none of his other relevant life experience / qualifications to pass much judgement on him. Merely a loose rumour - that I've largely disregarded - that he was a failed former footballer - possibly in Germany - himself? In a role as Sporting Director, one assumes he has a big say in who we sign. I've discussed on here plenty of times previously that I think the Lemsagam brother's forays into the foreign player market have been less successful than domestic recruitment over the same time series. Missilou and Gevaro apart, to date I don't think any of them have cut it. In this regard, the Sporting Director and his brother are failing. Having said that, I have less of an issue with him being appointed Sporting Director in the first place. If this is a model the owner wishes to pursue - whether I like it or not - that's his right as 97% shareholder of the limited company. They'll be judged by the on field success in that regard. What I do take issue with however, is the insistence they don't try to interfere in team selection when they patently do.... and they are not only lying to us about it, but also the Manager's/Head Coaches that they recruit. That they reportedly pay some of their dross signings well above what we pay our domestic players. That there is suspicion they are signing players that somehow benefit their former Agency - owned by the 3rd brother, Omar. Take Urko Vera as an example. How on earth did he get signed, and on the money he is reportedly on? It smells. Then there is the rumour that appears to have more grounds, that the youth set up is to be disbanded and replaced by a reserve team made up primarily of foreign imports. Makes me go cold. ....but all of this is less of a concern to me than whether we are going to be able to meet the next Tax bill. The obvious growing list of creditors. The 'poisonous' - to quote Scholes - environment in which the club's employees work. Unpaid Pensions. Because of unpaid rent, the very real chance we could become homeless if the Fan Led Group fail to purchase the land from Blitz/Gazal - because Marco & his brother most certainly can't. Reports that we were the only EFL club not to have a representative at a recent meeting. The lack of a clear vision/Plan that we can all unite behind. The general poor governance of the club.
  11. ....and/or his expense account will be unlimited. A bit like Mr. Corney's was.......
  12. Go to the next supporters meeting arranged by the Trust, meet them and judge for yourself then. While I would’ve preferred to read the letter in full too.... I’ve had enough interaction with @Andy b and others on here and elsewhere to be satisfied they are of sound mind.
  13. Equally, some of its content could illicit a legal response from other parties? It would be prudent to trust that the Trust’s decision is in the supporters best interests.
  14. They’ve taken a decision that they can’t, for legal reasons. You’ll have to trust them this is well judged. They have engaged. See comment above in response to KIG. By surmising the salient points, they effectively have. Does it matter? If the Trust have taken a decision that its better not to for legal reasons, can you just be satisfied with that? Maybe some of the content has legal connotations? I think the Trust’s public response tells us all we need to know about what they think, what they would like to see/not to see happen next.
  15. I know.... I was using your post to make another.... not tackling you on yours.....
  16. I've no doubt it was..... however in doing so you help to create an environment for others to do this.... Craig Davies.... spat his dummy out & downed his tools, c*nt. Anthony Gerrard.... fat racist fooker, c*nt Jack Byrne..... precious fooker who broke Fane's leg, c*nt. Ousmane Fane (with no sense of irony).... shit a football, c*nt. Tony Philliskirk (conveniently ignoring 20 years of loyal service).... bullying fooker, c*nt. Courtney Duffus.... liked a tweet, c*nt. Andy Rhodes.... sh1t coach, c*nt. Frankie Bunn.... sh1t manager, c*nt. Rob Hunt.... agent was trying to get him out, c*nt Cammeron Dummigan.... whimped off to Ireland, c*nt. Paul Scholes..... sh1t manager, bottled it & charged for betting, c*nt Mike Keegan (conveniently ignoring the fact he supports the club and therefore wants us to succeed).... works for the Mail, c*nt. ....this is what focusing on the nuance does. It serves to discredit everyone and therefore obfuscates. Just look at the weight [no Gerrard pun intended] of persons who legitimately have a grievance with our owner and his behaviour. It's quite clear to me who should get the focus of our collective ire.
  17. I know someone who is in it..... apparently there are over 1,700 members..... that quite a lot more than I expected. Although I assume - like my mate - that many of them think it's banal and littered with nonsense.
  18. Not to my knowledge. Do you? I don't imagine it will be particularly enlightening.
  19. Shuck, your participation in next season’s Prediction League is a must.
  20. What’s that for, the TV cameras to set up a gantry in the stand?
  21. We’d have a home to build the Phoenix from in this scenario though.... with no debts.... and could live within our means, which would be better than most of teams we’d be competing with until we got to Tier 5.
