It’s not all his fault.... but he was head of the organisation that runs the league and should be providing tighter regulation on ownership and governance. To be claiming he’s done a good job when so many clubs find themselves in such a parlous state is laughable.... and that’s what Kieran Maguire is rightly ridiculing.

Then telling us he's put millions - of his own money - in...... isn't true. He would've loaned the club millions of his own money! If indeed it runs to the millions at all [the last set of accounts published in 2017, said the club lost £472k]...... not to mention that, it is he who's responsible for much of the outgoings - £11k a week for Queensy, employment tribunal after employment tribunal!

English League 2 clubs without a large backroom team to assist? A French football journo from L’Equipe has just been in le radio to say Thierry Henry speaks highly of him. He’s highly regarded as a youth coach, but not as a manager/head coach. He failed with Monaco when they were in the 2nd div and is better known because his owd fella is a bit of a legend en France.

....possibly (as well).... but there was an ‘unexpected’ Tax bill (I think) to pay that caused a large reduction in budget and subsequently two back to back relegations from the Conference North in 12/13 & 13/14. This after they’d been in the Conference proper playing the likes of Oxford & Cambridge only a few years earlier.

....indeed they have, however Dave Pace’s lack of financial planning eventually caught up with them, and they had to drastically cut spending.... which saw them relegated 3 times...

You’re doing a top job of not understanding what people are saying on here tonight. I’ve called for a Plan from the owner of the club.... his legal helpers have a written one for him.... it’s lacks some clarity, tries to deflect blame elsewhere & is punctuated with eye-rolling platitudes.... but it’s a start. I went to town posting all the questions I believed the Trust should be asking of our landowner/landlord when they were due to meet him. ....but you want me to be posing questions of a group of people who own neither about their intentions and plans for something they don’t own? It’s nonsensical. Final comment. The FLG are fans. Neither Marco nor Blitz are.

A Plan and clarity from a group of people who don’t own anything connected to the football club? I mean, even you should be able to distinguish between owners and prospective owners. I’ll point you towards the posts where I’ve done exactly that for Blitz if you really need me to.
