  1. Not any more Savage. Not like this will stop though, and as it is after midnight I believe we are due a new WotD. I am going for my favourite off the real biggun and choosing frottage. Actually it was GFNs word, but I was the only person who knew what it meant without looking it up(I think we can discount Mr. Vorderman (Kets) from this statement - he knows what every word means.) That should rub some of you up the wrong way if you know what I mean ;). KtF, Derek.
  2. A bit of Billy or his other mate Charles and I will be drinking until next time you fall asleep under a Christams tree Sav ;). KtF, Derek.
  3. As if I would be lurking Stipey  . Don't have message board priviliges at work only normal website stuff, though the world of toothpaste and bodycare is mightily enjoyable and I am usually very busy so don't really have much time anyway. It's a bit of a pisser that it is closing down as I am just starting to find my feet properly, but it does look bloody good on my CV. You know how much toothpaste we make a week? I don't really expect you are bothered but it is over 80 million in normal tubes, and around 200 million in Stand ups, it is staggering how much stuff they make. Plus there is all the other gubbins like Plax, and deodorants etc. that CP make. It is dead dead interesting being part of the planning team. Got my first solo project too this week, I am managing a change-over of artwork for Denmark and Australia. I'm still not doing any production planning yet (just looking after materials and some learning some special projects stuff), but it is so complex that I bet it would take me a good 2 years to learn how to do it properly, planning for 47 filling lines is no easy task, I used to think 6 production lines was tough. Oh and 1968, you bet I want it keeping for me. If Kets ever turns up he will have 1967, IM and Stipe can scrap over 1964 again and Gillian can have 1873 all to herself ;). KtF, Derek.
  4. All I can remember about that gig was us going backstage to meet up with a band. Oh, and a groovy house room on another floor. Who else was on that night? Multimedia, ACR - not sure about that, Lucid Dream, Where's The Beach?... can't remember rock all else... I'm afraid I didn't get to see the New FADs at that time Lucid Dream defo, that was the band of the guy from Cheltenham that used to run the fan club who was an Everton fan, Dave Balfe. Didn't Will Sergeant do something with BOM too (in the house room - t'was quite a cool warehouse) before picking up his Strat? ACR definitely not, though Cautey and Drummond were there as boozy guests. There were a few other bands on but I am Fliped if I know who they were, I can only just remember who we went with. Very drunk and far too many drugs. I think I remember having a big chat with Les on the side of the stage at one point (whilst he was playing), he was stoned as a crow and I made him look absolutely fine Me, you, Lizzy Lee, Rebecca Mac and that miserable toilet brush Garforth went didn't we? Didn't I get off with that largeish Lass from Congleton who I had seen about a million times at B'Men gigs over the years? I blame Balfe, Everton toilet brush! KtF, Derek.
  5. Watch me upstage Ians stag do at Brighton then ;). KtF, Derek.
  6. The Cavemeister is God. Liking them two as well. KtF, Derek.
  7. Nice, very very nice. BTW, did you come to Duchess of York in Leeds to see New FADs with us? Dunno about 1990 ish when the third album came out, had 'em on my MP3 player today and was thinking about being there. I remember you came to the Bunnymen friends only gig with us but that one I can't remember at all. BTW, B'Men are doing that Cancer charity gig that Andy Rourke has organised, Charlies are on the bill too, and it is rumoured that Marr is going to do a spot (heard that from Sian at what was Suite 16). KtF, Derek.
  8. That is the first time you have been an under 19 for Fliping ages ;). I'm hiding at Scunny. KtF, Derek.
  9. cuddly teddy bear!!!!! I used a lower case 'c' in my post. Hee hee. KtF, Derek.
  10. She is a pussycat Taff. Well sometimes anyway. I am pretty sure you have met her btw, maybe user name and face conflicts that you have? I know a good psychologist if you need one bud ;). KtF, Derek.
  11. I thought we could swear on here? I want to make it clear right now that I have never ever referred to C**y as Cheeky Monkeys. I use much more expletive language! KtF, Derek.
  12. Name? Errrr hang on just let me look at my user name again. Occupation? Materials planner for Colgate Europe. Location? Milnrow. How Long Supporting the Tics? Since October 1974 for my sins. Favourite Game (not the obvious one!)? I'm taking it you mean the Wednesday game is the obvious one? I think it depends on how much you hate Citteh. Never had a better one off day than when we tonked them at Moan Rd. and King Rog grabbed a hat trick. I have the match ball you know . All Time Greatest Player? No contest, Roger Palmer. Favourite Current Member? Dunno, a tough one. I always admired Wellens from afar when he was at the Lashers, I think he has been fabulous for us, but doesn't stand out as much - perhaps it is that he is playing with far better players? Stam, Eardley, Porter and of course after todays good news Gregan all spring to mind readily too. I'm going to go for Pogs though, I was gutted when fool forced him out; and he did, I may tell what I saw preseason after we got back from IoM on here one day. I was over the moon when we got him back, yeah of course he can be a bit dodgy, but aren't all goalkeepers mistakes emblazoned in neon light when they happen. A fabulously nice bloke to boot. Where will we finish? I'm hoping top two, but realistically I think the playoffs. I think we are good enough to win it but 1. I don't want to build up my hopes too much and 2. I think that we will pick up some injuries to key players eventually. Biggest Rivals (in your eyes)? Those :censored: from the Council House. And Finally, You became a millionaire, Oldham were available to purchase, what would you do to make our club Secure for the future? I would have to be a mega multi millionaire to even think about investing in a football club, never mind the one I have a love of. I would want to meddle too much. Should it happen I would probably just make a financial donation and let the club spend it playing wise how they saw fit (whether that be youth development or for transfer fees and wages). There would be legal conditions I would set to it, but I am a supporter and want to stay that way. KtF, Derek.
  13. Hee hee hee. You think we can beat 5000+ Singe? No doubt Stipey will be on here tomorrow with the next 90 odd posts to get the first 00. KtF, Derek.
  14. What????? Did you really think I wouldn't turn up? KtF, Derek.
