  2. Notts County's compensation and the likely sale of Coleman must of improved the budget surely??
  3. It sounds like we are preparing ourselves for another underwhelming appointment. We need a manager who knows this division already because he has his work cut out with our shower of :censored:e-of a club. We have the compensation money from County which will balance out the money lost from the season ticket promotion. It looks like we are selling Coleman, the money from this needs to used on getting a decent gaffer. Shez showed with his loans that you don't need to splash the cash to succeed at this level, you just need someone in charge who knows what they are doing.
  4. It definitely reminds me of when Steve Eyre was appointment Rochdale manager with the idea of him bringing his City youngsters to the club. That didn't pan out to well.
  5. I think people would be more serious about a refund if they had paid full wack.
  6. A new topic for just that :censored:e post??
  7. The one when the reporter really had to twist his arm to make him say he was staying at Latics!
  8. You could tell from his post match interview (was it after Millwall?) that it looked like he wouldn't be here next season.
  9. Their campaign has been along the lines of 'show your support to John Sheridan next season' up to this week.
  10. I won't be asking for a refund but I think it was blatant false advertising selling STs using Shez as their advertising campaign. They must of had a idea there was a good chance he wouldn't be here.
  11. And they applauded the youth team at h/t.
  12. No the fact they can't pull a decent crowd no matter how well they are doing. I can't comment on their match day experience but they've got a decent ground so it can't be that bad.
  13. Eh City and United territory...
  14. Burnley's population might be similar but they are surrounded by smaller towns without a professional football team, Bacup, Rawtenstall, Nelson, Todmorden etc
  15. Rochdale had one of their most important home games in history the other week when they played Gillingham, a win would of leapfrogged them into the playoffs. The attendance was 2300. Rochdale prove your theory wrong.
  16. Correct, Richardson and Billy Kenny were our summer signings when we dropped from the Prem.
  17. Why what's going on?? It can't be any more than a few dicks ballooning, organised trouble is a thing of the past
  18. Stay clear, even if he's innocent he's proved himself to be a totally thick :censored:.
  19. Sometimes when a manager keeps a team from being relegated he struggles to progress in his second season. Look at Shaun Derry at Notts. County and Ronnie Moore at Hartlepool for example...
  20. More importantly were there any flares or pitch invasions?
  21. I missed Celebration Sunday due to getting run by overwhelming numbers, in prearranged shenanigans in Shaw during the match. I wish I went to the match instead.
