  1. I'm just wondering if these "Ladies" were the same group that sat behind me at the Forest match during the second half. Cos the one's at Forest were a group of gobby little gits that couldn't say a positive word about anybody and used the foulest language they could to voice their opinions. One in particular just moaned about not shooting and about how crap she thought Davies and Kilkenny were playing. They actually ruined what was quite an enjoyable match for me :P
  2. Well we're due a win so I reckon it'll be against the Trannies 1-0, Hughesy to score But then again, I'm too optimistic and will probs be completely wrong. Bloody hope not though
  3. so far then only 6 of us off this board are going? How many people use this board anyway?
  4. Just thought I'd ask Not been to Forest away before so I'm hopin it'll be a good experience
  5. dude, you're on the wrong thread. And I bloody wish you'd stop slagging Ricketts off. I really don't understand how you can still be saying so many negative things about him when game after game he's shown himself to be one of our best players
  6. I'm sorry but just because you've watched the team for 20 years, doesn't make your arguement any more credible. To be honest, I think you're trying to back up your arguement by just selecting the facts which hint that Sheridans a bad manager i.e he doesn't seem to carry out his word, he doesn't seem to be giving the young 'uns a go etc But if you take how much Sheridan loves our club, how much he's done for us, how much he did for us last season, into consideration, then maybe you'll realise that we shouldn't even CONSIDER sacking the him just 3 months into a new season. We know we have the quality in this team to do well and the fact that they're playing hoof ball and not passing and whatever else tells me that the problems lie with the PLAYERS, not the manager, so I for one don't see how sacking Shez is the solution. And you're continued use of the word 'allegedly' was really annoying me by the way
  7. To right. I'm gettin so frustrated watching greedy Craig Davies taking stupid shots when he should be passing. Which is why at this point I'd rather see Ricketts and Wolfy given a go up front
  8. besides, at some gigs you have a Wall Of Death which is hardly something you'll find at a football match

Like anybody cares about MK Dons anyway. Seriously, since I moved to MK, I've seen like 2 Dons fans. Everyone else supports either United, Liverpool or Arsenal. And then there's me supporting Oldham, the team that nobody here has heard of :P But yeah back on topic, I say sign him! Unless Stam come back, in which case I'd rather see him playing - purely for his footballing skills mind
  10. Calm down! People are discussing the match but I don't see anything wrong with people saying nice to meet you and stuff like that. It's called being friendly
  11. This is way off topic but since you mentioned the Gestapo I thought I'd share it... I always remember my gran telling me about my Grandad, who'se Ukranian, was coming back from work once in his lime green Beetle and the police where searching all the cars. Well, grandad had just stolen a conveyor belt (no idea why) so obviously didn't want it searching. So he refuses to let them search the car and after a bit of an arguement, turns to the police and tells them 'listen, I knew men like you during the war. They wore long leather coats and we called them the Gestapo.' Needless to say, they just let my grandad drive on...
  12. Ok this is like from a teenagers point of view now. I reckon you should definately take you kid to the matches cos I started going to see Latics when I was about 6 with my dad and my twin sister. We were a bit of a handful but it was a right laugh. And if your son is as big a fan as you say, he'll definately appreciate it in the long term just like I do.
  13. Ok some of you might think this one's crap and it's a bit off subject cos it actually well made me laugh but here goes: Why did the girl fall off the swing? Cos she had no arms
  14. People really should read the topic first. Summat like 50 million jokes have already been repeated
  15. That one made me laugh But that one's just terrible!
  16. What's the worst jokes you've ever heard? My top 2 (courtesy of my father) would be: 1) Q - What's got 8 legs and one eye? A - 2 chairs and half a pigs head 2) Knock knock Who's there? Stan Stan who? Bert Lancaster
  17. Had no choice. I don't usually have any problems reading text speak but that was just ridiculous
  18. Makes no difference at all to me what day it is or who we play. I'll still be travelling from Milton Keynes to watch Latics at every home match
  19. Nah. Granted he'd still get European football but why give up a team in the Champions League just to go to one who's in the UEFA Cup? I mean after winning the Champions League with Porto and the Prem with Chelsea, he might think Spurs are a bit beneath him
  20. Ay that's where I sit! Well, not exactly the middle but still among all the grumpy old men
  21. I want Stefan Stam back. I've always rated him and as I've said before on this board, I reckon a Stam / Gregan partnership could be brilliant when they're both fit and in form. And Chris Taylor has been getting on my nerves so much recently, just cos of the diving. He's getting himself a bad reputation. He's a good player but like somebody else said on here before, he reckons he's better than he is.
  22. Just to p**s everyone off, I'd love Lee Hughes to be top scorer in League One this season. Yeah I know that's a bit too optimistic but it'd still be incredibly funny. Back to reality, I reckon he could score quite a few for us, his performance was pretty good and he certainly puts in a lot of effort which is brilliant considering this is only his second match and he's only had a few training sessions. Give him a bit of time and he'll be absolute class
  23. yup, saw the exact same thing. No idea what caused it though, just glad he didn't react to it and I must admit the ref did seem to have it in for him
