  1. You know what, I'm not even worried about not making a play off spot. There's only 6 points between us and those places and as it's been said, if Shez brings in the right faces, we can do it. And I could just be being naive or slightly over-optimistic here but only a really stupid, foolish manager would place a bid for KK and not look at any other options in the hope that we would get him, so I don't doubt for a second that Shez has something lined up. I mean think about it, we're merely fans and even people on here have lined up a couple of replacements ala Cywka and whoever else, so I just don't see the point in worrying about the whole KK thing. Basically what I'm trying to say is, we'll be reet KTF
  2. Signed for LEEDS on loan with a view for a permanent move
  3. I'm sure they'd still send an official text or summat
  4. I got mine yesterday but me dad didn't get one hehe
  5. Same but I did think The Blackening was a quality album. Opening line to 'A Beautiful Mourning' was absolute quality Weren't too keen on Libertad but I was a huge fan of Contraband when that came out. Foo Fighters was a good album, shame I didn't see them live this time round but I saw them at the MEN when In Your Honour was released and I swear to god, Dave Grohl looked at me, but it might just have been wishful thinking
  6. Haha I was just thinking that. Subject choice weren't geeky like the other 3 either
  7. He's doin alright though int he? Bit cringey when he was asked how he'd run the club though. "I'd keep the fans happy and the directors happy otherwise I'd get sacked" Bless his little cotton socks
  8. "hughes strolled around the pitch without a care in the world or any remorse for what he's done" He's on the pitch to play football ffs! Can someone explain to me how exactly is he meant to show remorse while doing that?
  9. Like the idea of the OWTB Stadium But it just makes me think that we should well all chip in and sponser something in the new stadium, don't know what though. After all, a lot of people on here did put a lot of effort in with organising the march and e-mailing councillers and whatever so this new stadium could be brought about in the first place...
  10. Just thought I'd start it as a new topic So far, we've had Hillstone Developments Arena (oa_exile) CNCG (Europe) Arena (Inspiral) Seton Welcomes You To Oldham Arena (oafcprozac) Welcome To Oldham, Home Of The Tubular Bandage Arena (me) Safestyle UK Arena (edhunteruk)
  11. Noooooooo! If your gonna steal anything off that bridge thing then it should end up as the Welcome To Oldham, Home Of The Tubular Bandage Arena
  12. Thats gonna look bloody fantastic when it's built! Only one thing I'm not keen on... is it definately being called the Oldham Arena?
  13. Well I should be embarrassed to share this story with you all but am gonna do it anyway Saw Stefan Stam on Deansgate early in the year and when normal people would have just said hi to him or whatever, I (being slightly obsessed with him) screamed "OH MY GOD IT'S STEFAN STAM" in his face Hows that for over-excitement?
  14. I have a guy that sits in front of me and every match he says atleast one of these three phrases: "ref you're a bloody peabrain" "does your other arm not go up ref?" or "get your eyes checked ref" It was funny at first but now it's just tedious But atleast he doesn't slate the players
  15. lol you're as bad as me for exaggerating
  16. That was one silly mistake. The centre halfs then raised their game and as a result, Crewe never even looked like scoring! And the results speak for themselves, we've conceded less goals since Gregan was out!
  17. I agree And I know this was a pointless post, I just wanted to make it to 200
  18. Yeah but we've already seen that Trotman and Hazell win the majority, if not all, the headers
  19. Will he be able to get back in the side what with Stammy, Trotman and Hazell doing so well? Will he throw a hissy fit if he doesn't? Personally I think he'll have to try bloody hard to get back in and to be honest, I can see him kicking up a fuss about it... What does everyone else reckon?
  20. Nah. Not trying to knock Gregans ability here but not only have we conceded less goals since he's been out but I hardly think it a coincedence that everyone else has started performing better since he was injured, so it's Stam and Trotman / Hazell for me
  21. What I meant was that I have no faith in Frank Lampard at all and that because, in my opinion, Crouch and Beckham were our two best players last night, I would have prefferred to see those them both on the score sheet rather than Crouch and Lampard.
