  1. Oh.. and why do people get so bothered that a games been called off at home? (Understand away game, already travelled e.t.c) I’ve seen some massively outraged people who have lost the plot over it...

Get yourselves down the pub and enjoy a few more beers without the hinderance of the football game getting in the way.

Its just a game f football don’t get so uptight, it’s not worth your anger and stress.

A group of youth teamers doing some shuttle runs on it for an hour would have sorted it.

    Funny you say this..

My game in the morning was in question with a shaded part of the pitch deemed unplayable.

Convinced my opponents coach to have his lads do their warm up on the frozen part, (small area in the corner covered by trees) half an hour later... pitch playable.

  3. Will be very very busy this... could be similar to that time we sold it out and had fans in their end.

    1. A must win

    2. A very local game that we usually take good numbers to

    3. A lot of Oldham fans haven’t had their football fix for weeks

    4. So late in the season

    One for the #numbers lads.

Some sickening comments in this thread.

    Fuck em...

Hope Spurs win the replay 10-0

I either wanted Spurs to annihilate them 10-0 or for dale to get a result... the draw was perfect for them now to get stuffed in the Home leg and secure league two status for next season.

    Result.

  5. Heard that Lemsagam is after hiring use of City’s Academy complex for our training use as of next season. Apparently his opinion is why have someone constantly trying to upkeep our training pitch and struggling in the winter months when you’ve got some of the best in the world within 6 miles...

    Seems sensible to me.

WTF?! Really can't get my head round that one. So let me get this right. He thought it was a shoe flying over and he thought a firm header is the way to deal with such missiles? New one on me, that.

Hahaha. It doesn’t read well does it.Well, we’d had about 10 pints.

Also, we have this thing between our group of if the ball comes near us from the pitch we have to head it, no messing about.

I presume the 10 pints and the eagerness to not chicken out of heading this thing that’s he’s only seen at the last minute? ffs.

I recall seeing that actually. Was about 3 or 4 rows in front of you and I’m sure you were picking glass out of his hair.

Yep. Silly of him to head it, but he wasn’t thinking it was gonna be a glass flask.

A certain moron element with our our fan base but on the whole, it’s bloody fantastic doing away days with our lot.

Yesterday was one of them brilliant days start to finish, shame about draw feeling more like a loss.

The steam was coming off the little girlnand her granddad so it was a tad warmer than you'd like. The owner is fucking coward if they didn't do anything about it. As is anyone who saw who it was.

My mate, thinking it was a shoe or something similar... decided to rise up and head the flask, smashed on his head and the glass then shattered all behind us where the older gentleman was.

Definitely warm but not boiling. We still couldn’t tell wht was in it.

Whoever threw it is a right tosser. At any fans is wrong, but at your own?!? Weird.

No chance kane and Alli could get injured, since they dive before getting tackled anyways. Hope Tunisia kick our arse but, can't see it unfortunately. FA bending over backwards for the big teams, as per.  Supporting England is more depressing than supporting Oldham so, I just cba with it nowadays. Rather support other home nations (bar the Scots, cause they're twats). They have more pride in playing for their countries these days.

Not used this word for years.

But, what a weirdo you are.

I need to ? You must be joking ? I was actually looking how to report that disgusting comment , and I’m far from touchy by the way . It’s amazing what a negative rep does for you. My reputation has been destroyed by a very very bitter old man constantly voting me down ten times a day every day. Now people just presume I’m a troll/ ass hole whatever. I think you have just been guilty of that presumption Wardie. Guess I will just have to knock it on the head and stop posting. But OMG that was a fucking horrible thing to say , I am not myself disabled , but without going into it , it does affect me.

In regards to this, I noticed the same a week or so ago - does he still downboat 10 a day? So so cringey.

i found myself agreeing with a few of your posts and couldn’t believe your bad rep.. not considered changing ur account? Suppose you’re not bothered enough.

Yep. A real positive to see that return.

I had a fleeting thought about going there for the next localish derby match, until I remembered that it would mean vacating the Glorious Main Stand...

Get yourself in there. We switched from the top right of main stand to top right of north stand, much better for involvement with away fans and the view ain’t bad.

Nazon only arrived last week though. Duffus has been inured nearly all season and he's mentioned Holloway is the main player who can only play one 90 a week. Tope is fair enough but general consensus is he's ain't good enough anyway ?

You can always play 2 up top but sometimes it would be square pegs round holes which we know is another issue with fans.

Tell you what, its good to read your posts on here Palmer. You speak a lot of sense. Which is rare on this board.. don’t always agree (in this instance I do) but analyse everything and speak about it properly at the very minimum.

Yeah, it’s not that German wannabe shite over there, but with a few more numbers today would’ve been a great atmosphere. Maybe 50 blokes too few.

I get what you’re saying. I’d rather keep it like it is and just hope the lads and blokes that are in there at the minute start bringing back their old boys if we are winning.

If they came over from rocky I know that my lot in particular wouldn’t bother sitting there.

No offence though to the group in the RRE I like what they’re trying to do... just rather them not be over near away fans.

Another game where you wonder why the singing lads occupy that corner of the RRE. Seemed a decent atmosphere in the North Stand side nearest the Chaddy but never really got going cos fans are split.

Bin off the drum and get them in the North Stand.

No thanks. Quite enjoy it over there in the top right side of the stand as it is. Bastard rovers at home, our lot over in the north stand was class

We’ve got a midfield of passers who want a man to run the channels, yet we stick a big lad up top who plays an entirely different way. It’s clueless.

This rings so so true. Pringle, Byrne, Gardner... they’re looking to find a striker who’s stretching the two centre backs apart and slot the ball in the gaps.

Davies is the type of striker who marks then centre backs.

System MUST change until Doyle is back.

If youre persistent with Davies (which I think you have to be, lack of options and only goal scorer in this side) then you’ve got to play a different game. Get Pringle on the left beating his full back and crossing the ball in.
