  1. I get the feeling this is about me Tracy!;) hahah The bubble can't withstand Snow, Rain OR Wind as it has no support so I presume it's down again tonight. I think there have been contractors hired to clear the outer areas of the ground, car park and the bits behind the RRE and Chaddy End. What did dissapoint me today is the businesses that are sponsoring us JUST for tomorrow's game, they were putting up advertising boards all over the place today. Great effort from everyone today, immensely proud to be associated with those that went down and was definitely worth it. Aching like crazy now but you do what you can for your club don't you ps. I feel for anyone sat on the 1st few rows if the snow on the roof is still melting, you WILL get drenched.
  2. scored 7 in 15 for Bristol Rovers, could do with him at Latics
  3. Cliff Byrne did a bit yes, about 30/40 down there when I left, had about 50% done.
  4. anyone who wants he game on tomorrow get down to BP and help clear the snow!!!
  5. anyone on here play Modern Warfare 3 and fancy a game?
  6. team of clearers tomorrow, rain forecast for 6pm saturday til about 10am saturday, we'll be reet.
  7. turns up in the cup, turns up in the cup, that lad robbie simpson, turns up in the cup!
  8. can we not pretend Jenny's Corney's wife? for some publicity?
  9. suppose but the odds that they're going to have 4 or more different goalscorers is shocking, we're not THAT bad are we!? The same team only beat Conference Mansfield 2-1!
  10. Brendan Rodgers has already described Dickov as 'a great manager' and a 'terrific player'.
  11. unbelievably hard to understand that mate but I think I get you, my mate put a quid on us to win the fa cup!
  12. Odds for their to be zero(10/1), one, two(both 5/2) or three(5/2) Liverpool goalscorers all pay more than the odds for their to be four(12/5) or more goalscorers. How depressing. Odds for Liverpool to win 5-0 are shorter (19/1) than the odds for us to win 1-0 (35/1) Odds for Suarez(11/5), Sturridge(3/1), Borini(5/1), Gerrard(11/2), Sterling(13/2), Shelvey(7/1), Suso(8/1), DOWNING(9/1), HENDERSON(11/1) AND JOHNSON(14/1) are shorter odds to score first than Jose Baxter and Robbie Simpson (both 14/1). All Liverpool players listed above are shorter odds (6/4, 13/5, 6/1. 7/1, 17/2, 9/1, 14/1, 17/1, 20/1 and 35/1 respectively.) aswell as Daniel Agger(66/1) to score 2 or more on Sunday, all shorter than Baxter and Simpson (66/1). all these taken from Paddypower's Match Betting Odds. Any more depressing odds?
  13. Old Grey Mare possibility? last team I went in there were at least 3/4 LCD tvs plus a projector screen. Rifle Range is a good shout.
  14. "can't believe I had to pay for this damn Bacon Butty" surprised noones said this but; "STRUGGLING League-One club Oldham Athletic" first sell-out since neighbours Manchester City visited in 2005. only won once since mid-December and that came in the 3rd round when FA Cup specialist Robbie Simpson scored two and star-man Jose Baxter scored a stunning free-kick to shock Championship Nottingham Forest. "AND THATS JEAN-YVES MVOTO LEAVING HIS MARK ON SUAREZ THERE" for anyone interested/who doesnt know- 'Presenter' and ''Pundits'' are Adrian 'knows cock-all' Chiles, Lee 'dip:censored:' Dixon and Gareth 'missed penalty' Southgate. With commentary from Clive Tydlesley and Andy Townsend.
  15. White Hart is probably your best bet I reckon. maybe The Junction Inn on Ripponden Road but I think they're welcoming away fans too.
  16. dad reckons all Corney wants is for us to cease to exist so he can finally sell the land BP is built on. Interesting belief.
  17. seem to remember us playing well on tv at home against MK Dons, last season was it? that's the last decent TV game I can remember us featuring in. despite not fully feeling the excitement now I know come saturday morning ill be buzzing, I cant wait tbh, the cup buzz, you cant beat it! Liverpool at home in front of a full house at BP, who cares if we get battered? Im going down earlier than usual JUST to soak up the atmosphere, I hope we sing all game tbh, no matter the result. let's be honest, when was the last time we sold out Boundary Park? 8 years ago? Its about time we did again and you never know, the magic of the cup could just see us prevail. However, more likely than that reality will see us get destroyed and laughed at by the rest of the football league but ah well. All we can do is sing our hearts out, get behind the team and hope it's the kick up the arse they need. It seemed to work against Forest and if I feel the way I did after Baxter's free-kick, unzipping everything to unveil my Jose Baxter Baby tshirt and screaming at the top of my lungs for the rest of the game, I really don't care whether we win lose or draw. Obviously a win would be unbelievable! ps. I didnt even regret it when I was sat on the coach home with a damn sore throat!
  18. can't imagine it, Dickov's got about as much initiative as those parody footballer accounts on twatter.
  19. surely the seller would be much better off trying to offload them on here?
  20. Baxter will have probably signed under the understanding that we'd sell him in the summer for big money.
