  1. Morais and KMB are capable of running past a man and their crosses, though inconsistant can be decent and with Keiran Lee supporting quite often I don't think that's the problem. Most goals have come from wide positions. The direct route seems to be the issue I think. We just haven't been able to make chances from the CM position lately. Obviously Furman and Wes being gone has contributed to this issue but there seems to be no cutting edge from through balls down the centre especially to produce 1 on 1 situations for the strikers.
  2. How can anybody vote for Bouzanis? His distribution was appauling and the goal looked saveable.
  3. This has been my first season following Latics and having been to a few away games and the majority of home games thus far. I decided to bring my uncle along who had only been to 1 match since the old stand had been knocked down (Chesterfield cup game), though a regular for around 20 years before that. Last night he said that he wasn't interested in coming back because the football was "diabolical". He had bought tickets for the Chaddy end with the idea that it would have some atmosphere in it too after the ultras experiment in the Chesterfield match brought some life back. There was no atmosphere there for any of the matches. So both the viewing experience of the atmosphere and the play on the pitch was lacking in his opinion and mine too, though I will continue to attend all home and some away games before the end of the season. I expect almost all fans have thought the same as him over the past 5 matches and that's why I think that there will be very few post-Golden Ticket extra attendees.
  4. Noticed that he seems to be quite pedantic sometimes, treating the ball like a hot potato; but when he takes a touch he has a great pass in him, as the pass in the lead up to the goal shows after taking time on the ball. Seems to have every quality needed in a CM, hope he can polish his raw ability and that should make him a very useful player.
  5. It seems wrong that a non-English team joins the English league but due to Swansea and Cardiff's participation in the Premiership and Championship it is hard to deny Celtic a place in the league especially if Pomey go into liquidation. They would increase attendances and provide a good day out but their financial power would be too big for league 1 and they would almost certainly be promoted...still can't see it happening though...
  6. As long as United lose I'm happy. It's a good league to watch but I prefer going to watch Droylsden as my non-league side than supporting a Premier League team.
  7. I've been watching Droylsden for about 8 years now and he's the best player I've seen there by a long way. He would help solve the centre midfield gap and replace the awful Reece Brown. In fact, he scored a 25 yard screamer on Tuesday night and a penalty aswell, along with numerous other brilliant goals this season and the last. He'd be an excellent aquisition but with bigger clubs apparently vying for his signature it could be a struggle to get him.
  8. A very good player to go for would be Dan Gardner from Droylsden, I know Matt Smith hasn't worked out yet but Gardner is on another level, rumours of interest from Leicester and Nottingham Forest. He's a goalscorer and creator of chances he would be perfect for this team, just what is needed.
  9. I'd have to disagree with this, he seems to hoof the ball every time he gets it and it never reaches it's intended target (if there actually was one in the first place).
