Basically because we don't get anywhere near filling the place with 3 stands, so we sure as hell ain't going to fill it with an extra 3,000 capacity. But, as SC stated, it will be built with the capability of increasing the capacity. Makes perfect sense to me.
What did the old Lookers hold? I can''t remember. Prozac?
What extra capacity (estimate) would filling all the corners in add

But will there be enough money to rebuild the bugger? If not, we'd better build a bloody high fence or we'll be a danger to Sheepfoot Lane traffic with balls bouncing down the road. Footballs, that is.
This would be balanced out by the fact that Fil Morais no longer uses the Lane! Crashing cars that is.

Dugout? Players tunnel?
Will they not keep the changing rooms etc. in the Main Stand or do we think that will be demolished when the new stand is built?

Take the big windows out and it looks tiny. Second class.
Take the roof off, the seats out take the sides and back out put a fence up and build a scaffold for tv camera and it'll look like it was never built!

Thanks. That cameraman is worth signing up (bring that camera to BP too) much better quality than we're used to!

Look at that crowd!!!
great days!
Indeed. What was the attendance?
Me and my eldest son stood just behind the cheering Wed fans, bottom left of Chaddy end when they scored the first. They got moved after that!

Thank you!!!!!!!!! Still tingles!

Getting better but the only real anti-dote is the 3-2 win against Sheff Wed to win the old 2nd div. If someone could post that up please.

We spent a good few mins clearing the ball only a few yards if I remember rightly, until then Man U hadn't been a threat and Sharp had just missed a sitter which would had won us the game.
As for the Final, it was Chelsea and DennOs Wise had said they wanted Man U rather than us as we had beaten them home and away. Man U trounced them.
This.
If we had carried on playing the football we had done for 9/10ths of the match instead of just trying to hack the ball clear....................................

Well F*ckin Thanks for that!
I still firmly believe IF we hadn't started singing 'Always look on the bright side of life' at them just before they would have just faded away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The journey home on that 'fans special Oldham' train was surreal

Pretty similar to to the OP.
I think if (big if mind) we can get 40 games or so from the core, key players that make up our starting X1, and as & when the reserve kids come in they step up - we could (should?) be on for a mid-table to upper mid-table finish. It's all about progression, we've finished 17th & 16th last 2 seasons, so whilst 15th this time is again progression; I think we should be aiming for slightly higher. Play-offs are pipe dream though…
A real good go in the JPT again, we should have reached Wembley last season, we should be aiming for that again this time again IMO.
FA Cup - 3rd round again; to put us in the mix for another plum tie
League Cup - play every game to win, but I wouldn't be overly disappointed to leave early rounds in this - not falling at the 1st mind; like us to beat the Wendies!!!
Progression and development is the name of the game. As I say, if we keep the core out on the pitch, we'll be on for a decent season IMO, it's what happens in a fixture pile up or a mass of injuries / suspensions that worry me…
With this, Sky TV money and last nights earner nice start to the season cash wise!

League - Ideally Play-offs. Realistically Top half mid table - Playing entertaining football that helps to retain some of the cheap ticket fans next season
Fa cup - 3rd Round pay-day
League Cup - Ditto
JPT - Ideally Win it. Realistically don't want too many games with small squad

I'd sign him this morning and i think as insinuated in PD's recent interviews that we might. He also sounds like He sees and i agree with him that Simmo could be our up top striker with a great eye for goal.

Any of the city kids look any good? (for loan purposes)

It looks like he's brought Byrne in as first choice RB rather than CB.
He must have faith in the NEW MOSTON BECKENBAUER
Agree, I think PD said something along the lines of, Byrne can help Tarky with positioning etc. from RB

Why would you need to? just extending the rows of seats and adding a lower roof over them would work
