  1. im not missing anything at all! i said in my last post you cannot put "full blame" im not saying he is blamless for the second goal but if we cannot stop the ball from going to one end of the pitch to the other because one man is out of position we have bigger problems than Tarky playing centre half!

you are ignoring all other factors just to blame one man out of eleven, yes he was at fault for the second but he was not the only one,

just like Monday against Sheff Wednesday, there was more than 1 player at fault but Tarky was and is being singled out!

Listen he said "end of!!!" everyone knows this is an argument winner and you are now casting your seed on fallow land!

  2. Still doesnt deserve the dogs abuse on twitter some of the tweets are ridiculous to a 19 year old, offensive and will do nothing to help him be a better player despite his responses. The team as a whole are not defending set pieces as they should and for me thats down to Taggart as its been going on for months. I accept the players have to remember and deliver but we appear fragile every time.

    Highlighted the key bit

  3. 'Robbo' wants to watch he doesn't give himself a bad back carrying that massive chip around on his shoulder. You've won your opening league game and you want to whine and bitch about the opposition and the referee? His 'poor little us' act is really grating on my nerves as well, I notice he's said they won't be appealing the red card because "we know what they’re [the FA] like and they’re not going to overturn things.” Not quite as stupid as his 'David versus Goliath' comments after they lost in the playoffs but ludicrous all the same. How many other clubs who've only been in existence for 8 years have got a 22,000 seater stadium (that they stole from someone else)? Or a place in the football league (that they stole from someone else)? Or people like Robbie Fowler and Ian Wright on their coaching staff? Or players like Alan Smith (who is clearly nothing like the player he was, but who was earning £60k a week last season, so is presumably not on a wage we could afford)? You're in a far better position than you deserve. Stop complaining. You have no right to expect sympathy from anyone.

He's actually a very well balanced character, He's got a massive chip on both shoulders.

  4. I recently bought the new training top and found that it is a very small fitting, so much so I had to take it back and get the next size up. Just wondering if the actual home shirt is the same small fitting as I'm looking to buy that soon aswell...

I know the neck is tight, also noticed some of the players have cut it to try and loosen it.

  5. Why are they on the site ;-)

Whilst some ads are targeted directly to user others are targeted(by the advertisers) to sites like footy forums = lots of blokes = they think some will want local slags. etc

If you went on a dIY forum ads would be for b&q etc

  6. Long time blue

    Who did your dad support?

My dad supported Oldham as I did religiouly as a season ticket holder between 62 and 70.

I still support Oldham when I visit the family.

First match in the early 60's stood on the Rochdale Road End v Luton, listening to endless abuse of Baynham (?) in the Luton goal. Last match with my family was the Kettle debacle v Charlton last season.

    Leesover

I think you get the flavour.

Also don't try to be matey with me in the pub before the game at our place. It's happened before, I won't be nasty or aggressive to you, especially as you often have groups of children who you are polluting, but I won't acknowledge you as if you have any right to be there in the same way as I would any supporter of a real club.

    :censored: off.

I am sorry you feel that way.

However I moved away from Oldham started a family. My boys played football in the local youth leagues, on a regular basis coaches from the Dons academy would come and take an evening training sessions. The boys would go to the meet the players evening where the players would drink soft drinks, pose and chat. They wanted to go and watch football so I can take them to watch good football at a super ground built with the aid and support of the local council. They became season ticket holders, they are not interested in football politics, they are football supporters. I can't think of better criteria for a football team to be a real family club.

I enjoy live football, I go the Dons, however I am a football supporter, the first result I look for is Oldham.

I am sorry you feel as though you can't come and visit us, I can honestly say I am not concerned about this weekends result, lets hope for a super game and may the best team win.

  7. No chance of us getting Scapuzzi back in, he has turned down offers from Seria A, he wants to stay at City and fight for his place apparently.

Good luck with that one Luca, just a few ahead of you..................From commentary last night, Adam Johnson is likely to play more games for England than for City

  8. Pretty sure I could have scored 30 goals a season on the end of Ricky's crosses......... most accurate crosser of a football I've seen. In the same class as Beckham's.

Hard to believe it was Graham Sharp who benefited from a lot of those crosses, then left him in the stiffs when he became manager.
