  1. With back to back away defeats to follow its looking bleak where is a win coming from where are 2 in a row coming from? Pompey away- donny away 0 points notts county home and iron at home both bogey teams then away to brentford? Can't see much for mr "judge me in 10 games" I will judge you in 10 games and if we have 8 points on the board it will be a miracle

Why are you using a pseudo account to talk your hating gob:censored:e?

  2. THREE. :censored:ING. GAMES.

Actually it's TWO :censored:ING GAMES because Cup games are one off entities that don't count.

I agree with most of what you say but I think that to get a decent level of success it needs a year on year build, slotting the pieces of the jigsaw in until eventually the picture is complete, however since agents, bosman and the money flooding into all levels of the game it is harder for lower league clubs to do this. As soon as you get a decent player he is snaffled by a higher team's reserve squad and the money you get doesn't always allow you to reinvest and build on your success.

So in fact PD has done well to keep some of last years best players and has added some quality players into the team that will as with all new signings take time to fit in and make an impact. This plus a couple of the kids in the squad may step up and become big players. I really don't think all the doom and gloom is justified after "THREE :censored:ING GAMES" or "TWO".

  3. I think one of the problems is, that when new players are brought into the club, they tend to get in the team straight away. With no winning or earning the shirt.

The players who went on the training camp to Portugal and played in the pre-season friendlies, didn't do anything wrong enough to justify being dropped, so any feel-good factor gained from the team building exercise is lost and turned into a negative for those players that are cast aside.

The incoming players coast because they believe that the shirt is theirs and don't need to perform at the top of their ability to firstly win it and then keep it.

  4. They are shabby indeed. The team there are on peanuts and really speaking are not experienced or qualified for the posts. Having a decent arse and being ok on the tannoy doesn't mean you can market a pro sports club. Fair play to the main two but Sean Jarvis was miles above the pair of them.

I think he's alright on the tannoy but hey each to his own!

  5. I shouldn't get involved since this matter's diddly squat now anyway but....

    Are you guys kidding me?

The picture CLEARLY shows ginger nuts playing Simpson onside. It's not even close. Just look at the six yard line. The defender's entire body would have to be in line with his own right boot, for it to be even disputable.

How is this being debated seriously?

I think some people should've gone to Specsavers.

I take back my initial cmments. Simpson is onside. For some reason I hadn't noticed Lewington trying to block Crofts pass and Simpson is at worst level with him.
