    Agreed. I actually think the squad might be stronger than last years if we get a decent CM and Striker in. We still have 4 loans left..

    I like the formation but we have tried it a few times with different managers, different squads and it’s never really worked. Most the time we end up changing the formation by half time, you need a good quality wing back for the formation to work, don’t believe we have that. Anyways, it will be a 4-2-3-1 formation with Vera up top on his own.

    Baffled how you lose both your starting centre backs, both arguably your best players for various reasons yet we are 7 days before our first game without a decent replacement for at least one of them. Hamer is a full back Stott hasn’t been the most consistent within our side. Sefil is an Ashton reject. Oh and our left back isn’t much use

    I’d have him at full back. Just a shame we have two fairly competent right backs and not one decent centre back. Do we even have a left back at the club yet ?

    Recently spoke to a couple of the players, they can’t believe how bad he is. Offers no movement for the midfielders at all and his touch is awful. Maybe why he doesn’t get on with the squad going off what someone posted on here. Why has he even been offered a contract.

    Is Hamer a RB or CB ? Surely Mills should start but I don’t know if Hamer is good enough for CB personally. Especially with no experience next to him. Plus it makes his dangerous long throws not as easy
