Yeah I have for a well regarded football academy who is a premishership side now. I fully appreciate the holding midfield role as that’s the position I personally played. Yes breaking up play is imprantant but he slows everything down with his passing. He’s a awful footballer who breaks up play.

Gardner does a lot of running. Maybe even more than him. And can sit infront of the back 4 why do we need fane, just get Gardner to be more disciplined

Just to add, at the Walsall game the guy sat infront of me cheered everytime fane played a simple pass or made a simple tackle. It wasn’t sarcastic, and I understand cheering our players, but I think that shows the level that fane is at. If he had more positional sense he wouldn’t have to do as much running, his footballing ability discussed above.

How is it embarrassing. Name a player who you have seen that is unable to pass the ball and his technique is beyond awful. When he runs with the ball and even attempts a shot it goes closer to the corner flag. Don’t get me wrong I will be supporting him tonight, but I think anyone could run around like he does. If you have played football yourself you would see that you have probably played with players with better passing ability than him. It’s not embarrassing it is fact that Fane is shite at football

He’s been injury prone this year, he was looking to be a real talent at one point to. But I Remember when he first joined, it took him a few games to get back into it and firing. Don’t think we will see him play again, he will be off in summer

But a sudden spike and a fall back to how it is now ? Resulting in another change of manager and the cycle continues ? We need consistency, and now is the best time for it

That last sentence is where you are wrong, we can’t be taking forward quickly if you want the club to go forward for a long period of time. Yeah a new manager might result in a spike in form, but to progress for a long period, you need consistency. Consistency in both infrastructure and philosophy and that only comes with time, i would rather see gradual progression than an Instant short term spike in form. Changing manager will not lead to progression in my opinion, stick with Wellens if he has a long term plan.

Does anyone actually get excited when he bursts forward ? He did it yesterday was essentially 1 on 1 and I never felt he would score. When he runs forward your waiting for him to loose it and fall over which he does most of the time.
