  1. Oh but its fine for me to have to take them? Ive had threats of people saying they will come through my door and kidnap me etc, apparently the next game I attend am being smacked, All because I started that group.
  2. Its not my job to get more people into the games. Sorry about that princess.
  3. A lot more than that fella. Like I said I pity you lot slagging me off, if it was a none mover the group wouldn't be making the steps it is. Your right I didn't go in that day I was busy when the club got in touch 3 hours before the protest was going ahead and the main man himself was not available. Since then though a meeting was held and I will tell you know it was not a load of kids attending that meeting it was grown men fans of all ages. Simon Corney offered me a meeting the a few days later on his terms on the day he chose, the bloke didn't have the decency to tell me he couldn't make it. Its not me "running away"
  4. You know you have lost when you argue about spelling. I will ask you again, what is your problem with me? Your rather insulting. I have trouble reading and writing does that make my point any less valid? Keep poking fun at it Mr.Perfect would you make fun of a blind person or a disabled person too? Its no different.
  5. Hahaha My opnion that is shared by others. Me the person who had the bollocks to take things from a keyboard and try and get change. Me the person who went into the club held a meeting, me the person who went to an oldham open fans trust meeting, me the person who had more people at his meeting last week than the trust got to the open fans meeting. So yeah i have an opinion and i think am entitled to it. So no am not a leader I have said it multiple times yet all you do gooders seem to miss it. IF ANYONE AT ALL WANTS TO RUN WHAT AM DOING BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY CAN DO A BETTER JOB THEN PLEASE DO. What have you done to drive change? Am guessing at errr nothing. Reload your keyboard and continue moaning on the internet like the rest of the cool kids.
  6. Serious question... Whats it going to take for you all to wake up? Manager sold, all players worth any money sold, zero assets and a winding up order and all some of you do is slag off fans who question as to why. To me you are the one's with the agenda. Reload your keyboards and shoot me down because I pity you I really do. Lots of love Mr. I told you so brigade.
  7. I tell you what lad, why don't you find me a post/tweet or whatever else of mine that asks fans to boycott? You will be looking for a long time. That protest about change not so "embarrassing" now is it. You seem to have a personal vendetta against me, so whats the problem? I have raised concerns that a lot of fans have had and not hid behind the internet like everyone else does. As another poster has said you all laugh at Bury and make yourselfs look like idiots. People in glass houses and that eh? If you think for one second I and others take any joy in whats going on your sadly mistaken.
  8. Its a non story haha. Yeah don't we all let our bills go to the bailiffs or court before we pay them? Normal behavior that. We will eventually run out of things to sell to pay these bills.
  9. For anyone coming along, time has been changed to 8:30pm. Room double booked.
  10. The problem is that we have no plan to leave this league not upwards anyway. To be honest I would say we have zero chance of ever going up with the current owners. My reasons for this are we have a revolving door of players and managers every six months, no stability as soon as a player or manager shows any signs of progression and an offer come in they are out of the door. So for arguments sake let's say this new manager has us in play offs come December/January time and offer comes in he will be gone. The same applies for anyone of the playing squad. We have seen the likes of burton and Walsall show you don't need a big budget to do well in this league just a bit of luck and a core squad of players that a team has been built around. I feel like 20th in league one every year would be fine for the current board. I hear about the sports direct deal, the new stand all improving the budget yet there is zero evidence of this happening at all and I don't think it ever will. I put on Twitter before that the only way the new guy will be here next year is a 10-20th place finish any higher he goes for a months wage and any lower he's sacked.
  11. June 22nd 7pm st Anne's rugby club. Meeting setting a clear agenda and structure. Anyone with any concerns come along.
  12. The club is being kept alive by a life support machine that's made up of player sales and short term thinking, the rest of the land and surrounding area is making a tidy profit for brass bank. I mean come on let's be serious no one thinks Corney is plugging financial gaps in the club do they? It's not sustainable for him to do that. Club may get match day income from the stand but you can bet your bottom dollar the match day income goes to paying off debt for the stand whilst the mon-fri income goes straight into brass bank and OEC. Club is being shafted and the sooner all fans unite and realise this the better.
  13. I think the away one will be white with a blue collar. With the home one being blue with a white collar.
  14. So for what ever reason Unknown to me the meeting has not gone ahead. I'd just like to point out that I never arranged for it today it was fully on the clubs terms. I was never told a time just a day I've waited all day and they have not confirmed a time. Went down to the club and no sign of Simon Corney. I've arranged the time off work and turned down overtime and the lad who come with me drive over from Warrington. It's a bit disappointing but hey we can take it on the chin and we can try again.
  15. Think it was over priced anyway tbh. At 15 quid a pop with an England shirt on or £20 quid without one I'd imagine the take up would of been quite small. This event may well be worth more in terms of income.
  16. I don't think anywhere have i used the word bull:censored:? I have said I suspect with regards to the Shez situation and the season ticket offer. There will be sheridans side of the story and the clubs the truth is probs somewhere in the middle. After all shez did say he felt as though he had taken us as far as he could. Your welcome to your views that this is a pointless exercise but I would have to disagree massively. We as fans should remember that just because something is said you don't have to always take it as 100% truth I mean wasn't the north stand opening last season first game and didnt after tickets had been sold? If however when I go in to the club and some proof is available I will happily hold my hands up. I certainly do not have some kind of agenda against the club I want what we all do and thats the best for the club. I will post again after I have been in and seen the club.
  17. Good evening all. Massive thank you to all who attended today. Great turn out and some great points made. If i miss anything or get something wrong in this summary feel free to point it out in the comments. For me the aim of today was to make the trust aware just how frustrated, angry and fed up we are. Id say we have started to make good progress on that front, just before i go in to detail I would like to commend everyone on there behavior and the nature the meeting was held if we are going to make any serious inroads this is the way forward. So the meeting started with the shez questions, we was told that Notts County came twice and was rejected out of hand, on the third occasion we had to inform shez and he decided he wanted to speak to them he apparently new the budget for next season back in January. That was the answer from the club now I suspect that something has gone on and we may never actually find out. AWe offered to match his wages and he still went I also suspect that the budget in Jan may have changed due to the season ticket offer. This offer was also brought up and in hide sight I don't think if the club new they would win 3 games they never would of put it on(personal thought not direct from the club)Holloway signing for Fleetwood for £1800 a week and we couldn't afford to match or beat it. The car park is owned by brass bank and the club see nothing from that, the car park attendants are paid by brassbank. The players and staff was paid Tuesday due to bank holiday it should of been Friday tho if you ask me because anywhere I have ever worked if a bank holiday comes you get paid early. Questions was asked regarding the monies from the new stand going to the club we was told that some will but no figure or percentage was mention. I will be looking more into this to try and get some clarity for us. Now as for whats for sale the club is for sale and a package for the land stand etc is also a possibility lets be honest it needs to be included because otherwise any new backer would stand zero chance of making any money. Questions was being raised about the future of the club at boundary park and when the lease runs out in I think 2031 apparently the club have the option for another 20 years after that. Questions was raised about the sports direct deal but to be honest I can't really remember the answer had a busy day and am tired lol sure it will come to me later. I know there will be stuff I've missed guys so please feel free to add whatever you feel i missed.Ryan has got a video also thats in the process of being uploaded as week speak to YouTube a link will be posted when done. Thanks to Mark and Kenny from the trust the lads didn't shy away from any questions and answered really well. Thanks to Mark from the pub for hosting the event but most of all thanks to each and everyone of you who came the more who come to these kind of things the louder our voice will be heard the more pressure we can apply. I've got a meeting at the club this week and I will be asking members of the board questions some may of already been asked today but you know won't harm anyone to ask again. If anyone wants anything asking let me know. I will be making notes of all answers and keeping you all updated. Keep the faith guys. copied and pasted from the Facebook page. Had to dash to work straight after meeting. As I have said I know Ive missed bits but a video will be available soon. Yes the grammar is not great but am working on it haha.
  18. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/documents/1516-season-ticket-application-lowres210-2408467.pdf No mention of refunds on that article... https://www.eticketing.co.uk/oafc/staticpages/termsandconditions.aspx But that one does have a returns policy and basically according to them you should have no issue, although it does mention a cancellation will be applied.
  19. I would disagree that the product paid for has been changed a season ticket gives you entry to all 23 home games and entitles to a specific seat. That has not changed. Although I think it's quite possible that due to the fact it's not been used and I would suspect is in the same condition as sold it would be quite possible to return it legally. Am sure the terms and conditions will clear up any return policy.
  20. I know some of you have had your doubts about the protest etc and that is fair enough. The group on Facebook was set up as member only so we could try to avoid people coming on insulting fans who had genuine concerns. Sadly this has not stopped this, however I can take it on the chin and accept it some of the points made have been fair if I am honest. I am not experienced at all in anything like this and can only learn from any mistakes. What I can confirm however is that a member of the trust is 100% going to be doing a open question and answer session on Saturday at the grey mare pub I've just had a phone call to confirm this. So if you don't agree with what I have done or said recently fair enough but if you do have any concerns you would like to ask face to face then the opportunity is there on Sat and the more people there the more you would like to hope the trust will take notice.
  21. This bloke here who does not have the mental capacity to hold a proper conversation with anyone has already been in to meet with the club, and attended the open fans forum trust meeting, where only 5 fans actually turned up. Now that is embarrassing 5 fans at an open trust meeting when there are loads on here who have quite a lot to say quite a lot of the time. One of the main reasons I didn't go in yesterday was I want to speak to Simon Corney and he was not available. It has now be arranged that I may well get a meeting with Simon Corney. You might not agree with what I have done or said but lots of others do. There is no need at all for you to come on the Internet and start making demeaning comments about me when I suspect you don't even know me.
