I decided this morning that I will be taking 4hours overtime in work and miss this game. Infact no the players made my choice alot easier on Saturday.

So true. If you go to a game especially away you expect to hear that kind of language. Its funny that its ok for people to come on here and call/abuse those fans who called and abused the players on saturday.

In 7 days we have lost to a team who had lost 9 on the bounce. Shipped 5 at home to bloody Southend United and failed to test the keeper away at bottom of the league. Is it any wonder tempers are flairing? After 19 games last season we was 6th and had lost only 3 all season. We have yet to get a decent 90mins this season.

Id suggest the ones screaming abuse are more intelligent than those clapping as we freefall in to league 2 are, least they ackowledge whats coming!

As above at the start of games any club in our league would struggle to match our support. especially away, but when the fans put more effort in than the players something is wrong. They look lost, its a shambles we have lost 3 in a row and the more gamed dd is in charge the more we look as if we are going backwards. In my opinion results prove this.

Come on we all know we are going to lose on Saturday. Its Latics and we are unbeaten away. Crewe are bottom of the league so its typical Latics to lose the unbeaten record this weekend.

Whilst I accept he is new to being a manager. What has he done to show any signs he could make it as a manager? Motivate players? No Get the fans onside? No Improve results? No Improve performances? No Last night he was stood in the Darren Kelly pose hands in pockes looking clueless. This guy is as much a fraud as Darren Kelly.

Its league one though most teams dont have that. Wallsall Burton and Gillingham have no better squad than ours. I doubt very much they are all in the top six playing defensive football.

In the same sense though we could be 2-0 by 20mins if we are at it from the off attacking teams. The way are playing and have played all season has not worked. Bury away and walsall away where we attacked we looked a decent side. Tbis devensive set up is seeing us concede most games and then leaving us to score 2 to win the game.

I agree 100%. I don't think David Dunn will be gone anytime soon no matter how results go. I think the club realised they made a mistake with Kelly and the only reason they wont do it again is beacause they dont want to look incapable of getting the right manager in. So we are now hoping a man with no experiance can keep us up again. To me he looked just as clueless as kelly did on the sidelines. We have taken our most natrually gifted footballer and made him manager. He should be on the pitch ripping teams apart doing the role John Sheridan did for us.

Someone said to me today we seem to have a second best attitude at the club. The club give off a clear message league one survival is enough. We need to start accepting this as fans until someone takes us over this is the way it will be. More and more people will stop going and we will end up going down. I am astonished we are not yet in the relegation places. We have been really poor for a very very long time now. The most frustrating thing is we dont seem to want it bar Liam Kelly. Next week is a huge game.

My view on today. First half awful Barnsley had enough chances to be at least 2 goals to the good. We looked like the team who had lost 8 league games in a row. Saying that the finish for the first goal was quality, although I think it took a deflection. At one nil down the the fans kept on singing until half time, when half time arrived there was a few boos which was understandable. Yet again at home we looked second best. In the second half we was more positive although not creating to many clear chances. The fans still making a decent atmosphere, at this point I said to a couple of friends after the recent digs at the fans and their chanting, how many home teams would still have this type of backing after the home performances we have seen?? We have all been to away games where when we as the away team are winning and the home fans are silent. At latics this does not happen. Any way after the goal for us the game was there for the taking, when Higdon come on he won everything in the air yet no one was willing to take a chance and push on. I get the impression when we are on the front foot we a scared of taking that chance. To be honest i missed Barnsleys second chatting to some one next to me, am told it was bad defending. I came away from a home game yet again questioning why I dont just go away games, I enjoy them alot more.
