Don't worry he's off to Sunderland.
If that's true, they must see something in him that I can't...

The amount of people who want to keep Croft ???
Christ almighty...people really aren't arsed about us going down. Overweight, no end product, 10 mins of effecting play every other week...and people want to keep on spunking a wage on him. His weighing us down. Literally!
Well he affected play for 90 minutes on Saturday for a start...

St Mirren.
In fairness, Fergie wasn't sacked at St. Mirren because of performances on the pitch. He was sacked because he breached his contract by speaking to Aberdeen behind the board's back.

What are the chances of this being off, do we reckon? Dropping down below 0 tonight, and only peaking at 2 degrees tomorrow...

Massive shame he's not worked out.
For all the genuine :censored: we've got, he's actually a very talented footballer.
Have to portion a lot of blame on the manager for not getting it out of him, and a bit of bad luck that he hit the post so often.
"very talented" is a stretch...

Mckay's the best of the three. Though that's not saying much.

A sacking now could prove unsettling ahead of such an important game.
And it is an important game.
Or his logic might be that a new manager may galvanise the team to victory. New manager bounce and all that.
...I'm not sure I'd be massively concerned if it were unsettling to this lot - they're hardly producing the goods at the minute anyway.

I see Bury after 11 successive defeats took 738 to Fleetwood , we took c 580 to Sheffield?
Maybe they were allowed to pay-on-the-day...

If Ripley is recalled/released we are well and truly stuffed and this is just an academic exercise.
I did say the very same even before the season started. Should have kept Coleman, at least he was ours and potentially worth decent money in the future
Not sure we'd ever have got more than £100,000 for him. Especially if he was sat on the bench.

They won't sack him whilst we are still in it.
Why not? If it were that important (and I'm not sure it is, by the way), and he didn't think we were likely to progress to the next round under Robinson, why wouldn't Corney sack him?

Michael Higdon makes the step up from Tranmere to Bangor City in the Welsh Premier Division.

I think I'd rather have Guardiola

While I agree there are more important areas to focus on at present, I am curious as to what Sports Direct have had to say regarding the signage on the Chaddy End roof. I would've thought that would be highly significant to the whole naming rights of Boundary Park and possibly led to us being paid short of what was agreed.
It is fair to say that such missing/hampered revenue streams as scoreboards, sponsorship deals (like people pulling out through Ched) etc. falling by the wayside end up leading to bigger money problems we face now...which then make the aforementioned look more trivial. As you say though, opinions!
Do we know that,
a. Having signage painted on the roof was ever even part of the deal anyway?
or
b. That even if it was, that the onus wasn't on them to sort it out?
...isn't that stand still technically the ZenOffice Stand anyway?
-
Ripley, believe it or not.

So the last time we scored 3 away was about 2 years ago - away against Rochdale - and we were 6th in the league and getting excited about prmotion
It's been a :censored:ty 2 years
Didn't we score 3 away at Gillingham under Dunn last season?

Routine win. Nothing to worry about in the slightest...
For Lincoln...?

Poleon did an excellent job of justifying Latics' decision to release him.

You'd get here on the train quicker from Millwall than Peterborough, it depends how they've travelled.
Doubt that - you'd have to get across London to Euston first, and then it's over two hours to Manchester from there. Peterborough - Manchester by train is about 2 hour 30 mins, so even by train it'd be much of a muchness. By car Peterborough's much quicker.
...but it's all irrelevant really, anyway.
-
Why because it was Millwall? we played a team with fans probably further to travel.
Not sure about that...

Ok, ok, put your handbags down ladies. I realise I have had a go at your man crush but your adoration simply isnt reciprocated by him... such is life. Sheridan did a good job for us and it was mutually beneficial. His stature was given a new shine after doing good work here and he used it to take a higher paid job. Don't forget, prior to coming back to Latics Sheridan had taken the Newport job after wanting to move back North!? Which bit of this don't you agree with?
On Johnson, its hilarious people think we 'sold' him. Grow up. He wanted to leave in his quest to be a prem manager (which he may well achieve), we recieved compensation, there is a difference.
On a more general note. Its amazing how certain posters embrace negative rumours based on nothing and no actual event or information from an unnamed source as fact. When someone else has an opinion based on events that have taken place they should stfu. Angry little souls.
Newport's quite a bit further north than Plymouth, in fairness.

He was a cracking player when here last time. No world beater, but good all the same. Never understood what went wrong.
Slight exaggeration...
-
Danny Philliskirk would have converted a fair number of the chances these 3 haven't been able to. WHAT?
Not from Blackpool's bench he wouldn't...
-
Appears Luke Woodland has been released. Bolton have taken him back to have a look at him in their u23s
Are they really that desperate...?

Wilson can't win an header (not good when we are so weak defending set pieces) and we look much more balanced with Dummigan in there, saying that I'd have Edmondson in there a player who is rarely beat to the ball defensively and one who actually thrives off the physical challenge, did well at rightback when he was used there as well.
Wilson and Dummigan are both streets ahead of Edmundson at present.
Ex players and that

Wouldn't be surprised to see him gone after that.
