Echo those sentiments - well done all involved.

Have you got stats for those finishing in 20th though more importantly?
I think the point is that had a team finished either level (with better goal difference), or with one point more than those teams in 21st, they would've stayed up. The teams in 20th might have finished more points ahead than this, but they didn't need to in order to avoid relegation.

Fair play indeed
How many penalties have Millwall been given this season compared to us? I think we have only had two all season in the league?
We haven't spent much time in the opposition's penalty area all season, in fairness...
-
Why would we convert him to a centre-half when centre-half is our strongest position, and he's playing well up front?
-
Seems like the perfect opportunity to show the powers-that-be that the acoustics in the Chaddy aren't so bad after all.
-
They have to keep ten percent back if they are sold as unreserved seats - :censored:ing stupid I know.
Why not sell them as reserved seats then...?
-
Adam Lockwood is doing a great job at Guiseley. They looked doomed when he took over, but he has got them 5 points clear of the drop zone...
...and that's despite having Jake Cassidy up front!
(though give him his due, he does seem to have been scoring a couple)

Not sure many fans would have contributed to a crowdfunding campaign for perimeter advertising...

Scary to think where we'd be this season without Clarke and Ripley, it really is.
-
Squad player at best.

I have to say that the young lad Hunt from Brighton looks like a proper player, comfortable on the ball, will obviously push on when given the opportunity but last night he stopped so many crosses from coming into the box.
For 18 he look to have a big future a head of him. Didn't panic once, totally composed on he ball and I don't think he was beaten one on one all night. Not even his strongest side of the pitch. Great loan signing!
He's 21...

Got a mate who is a Bromley fan who reckons he is one of the worst players he's seen.
Came on at 70 minutes for them and was knackered by 85.
Interesting that he's reached that conclusion after seeing him play for a whole 20 minutes...
-
6 in 48 first team games doesn't tell you how many minutes he spent on the pitch, many may only have been a few minutes like at this club.
His goals by minutes on the pitch stand up just as Matt Smith's did when he played here.
In your opinion will he score less goals than the other strikers if given a run of games?
That wasn't really my argument, I just wanted to make it clear that he didn't actually have a goal per game scoring record at Hearts. Society's recent tendency towards 'post-truth' culture has made me increasingly fractious towards arguments premised on misinformation.
But as you ask...
I don't know.
It concerns me slightly, however, that a succession of, frankly, pretty mediocre clubs in equally medicore leagues (ourselves included) haven't deemed him good enough to play consistently, despite his apparent pedigree.
Given a prolonged chance, he might bag a couple, but I'm as yet unconvinced that he's the answer to our problems, and suspect he'll be released at the end of the season.
I'd be delighted to be proved wrong.
-
So he scored 5 in 17 for Hearts? Or am I being stupid? The 1.411 figure you keep quoting is the number of minutes he played for Hearts, but using the European full-stop separator rather than a comma (i.e. 1,411 minutes). It's not a ratio...
Arguably more interesting is that he's only ever scored 6 in 48 first-team games in his career by the age of 24. Not sure he's quite the goalscoring Messiah we'd like him to be, but hope to be proved wrong...!
-
His goal ratio at Hearts was 1.411 (practically a goal a game).
Ok it's Scotland, but still makes me think he has more goals in him than the others.
He was also prolific for Liverpool under 23s.
Is that right...?
-
No Keeper on the bench? Uh oh...
-
Aye, he was :censored:e when he tore Forest a new one to put us top of the league. He was :censored:e when he scored 11 goals from the left in a season. He was :censored:e when he left and would never amount to anything anywhere else. He was :censored:e when he won promotion with Millwall. And he was :censored:e playing in the Championship for a few years.
Don't think this ever happened - Millwall were already a Championship team by then. But the point still stands...!
-
Do we really need another right-back...?

Uche is shirt number 34, just for reference:

Shez left Newport on January 13th... Warren Feeney signed Wilkinson (and Smalley, coincidentally) on January 21st.
-
This is up there with Steve Marlet and Patrick Berger.
-
Would be amazed if he's still here in 2 and a half year's time.

LJ lost at home again today, 2-3 to Cardiff. They're only 3 points above the drop now and they in the top six not that long ago.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him gone after that.
-
Don't worry he's off to Sunderland.
If that's true, they must see something in him that I can't...

Seem to remember Torquay going down with 51 points that season we stayed up on the last day by beating Bradford. Had Wrexham not had a 10-point deduction for entering administration, MK Dons would also have gone down with 51 that season, so it can happen...! Been a while since 52 hasn't been enough though...
