I think he'll do OK. Our squad is very light and especially when your talking about the experience. I dont think he'll be a starter when people are fit and back from ACON. However what he will give is us in the games where a point is needed and maybe we are winning, then he can slow the game down and use his experience to kill the games. Good guy to have around.

I agree, think he has 3 games in the league. The Everton would be the last though if results are poor. He has bought himself some time with yesterday. If we would have lost it would have been done today.

I think when he says 'good footballer' he means with the ball at his feet. I agree he is not a very good footballer, but on the other had as a target man he fits the bill. Yesterday is has excellent, Liverpool just couldn't deal with him at all. Still need a striker in my opinion.

I don't understand why we are constantly starting Smith. Great impact sub but starting games? Makes us very one dimensional.

Dickov and Corney are thick as thieves! That's the down side, how can you be ruthless with your mate without destroying the working relationship. They have to treat it like a business and sadly they don't. If you were underperforming at work there would be serious consequences. So why not here? I wouldn't mind Dickov staying as manager, but with a good coaching staff. But I agree that if that happens and PD gets better results, is that the new backroom staffs victory or PD's?

Cheers, I'll try downloading Chrome and using it that way. Another thing, there is never a link (which there used to be) to listen to the game, like the links to the videos. Also, when I click on live air just takes me to the text screen with the vidyprint. I am guessing that is not normal?

I am currently living in Madrid and am registered to Player. I can view videos of pressers and highlights of the game, but I can't listen to the game live. It is driving me mad!! I am only able to listen to the games live when I am in the UK? I have emailed the club, but surprise surprise no reply. Any help would be fantastic! Thanks in advance.

There are some serious issues at the moment, we have never been a great team but jesus, this is the worst I have seen us in the 23 years I have been watching! There is no doubt Dickov is a great motivator and the players really seem to take to him. Everything seems abit pally pally at the minute. Corney seems to friendly with PD, and PD the big brother of the group rather than the father figure. PD needs to keep the distance to have the respect when it comes to the hard times (and bollockings) such as now. I think one of the biggest issues though is that PD has zero tactical ability. The previous backroom staff had no tactical ability and they were carbon copies of Dickov. Now we have no one (only TP and PG who have other jobs), that is beyond a joke. Either get rid of him, or hire 2/3 :censored: hot coaches who have experience and tactical knowledge and know how to play football.

Well they were saying that Jason Scotland was supposed to be joining. Clearly that is hot air!!! We in desperate need in some quality, as we have no depth at all!
