I had a funny feeling this might be the case

Where's that from so I can email them?

I bought the home top, season ticket in hand, and said "I believe I get a discount with a season ticket"

The lady said no and even gave an explanation that I didn't quite take in....

So annoying yet so predictable...

The new MD and new Commercial bloke were both right there too. Never change....

    There’s no season ticket discount

For your unconditional support towards Oldham Athletic, season ticket holders can benefit from:

    - First priority towards league away games and all cup fixtures.
    - 10% off in the newly refurbished Club Shop for next season.
    - 10% off away coach travel for next season.
    - £10 off any hospitality packages throughout next season.
    - 3 x £5 off any home league game throughout next season for a family member or friend to come along to Boundary Park.
    - Members 'Player of the Year' award, vote and chance to present.
    - Exclusive Club Shop offers.

think this is why the football shorts have increased. So you pay the same as last season with the discount.

Few months since this was announced. Be interested to know if this is still being looked into? Or was it just smoke and mirrors.

Absolutely something the club needs. Especially if we're losing little Wembley in the near future.

Think personally this was to cover up for AL being given a hard time by fans.

No planning has been submitted suggesting it’s a pipe dream at present.

The income elephant is based on projections, they didn’t give detail.

Rent from Glogym and the top floor which is going to be rented (I’d wager to a business run by Simon Wood expected to bring in £100K+PA) are two sources

It is not being funded by debt, so there will not be loan repayments to take against this

Not only that. Money from the new fans bar and new company using the other space in the stand.

Should be earning money 365 days a year rather than now where it earns next to nothing.

Yes - he pulled up quite sharply clutching his thigh after getting up well for an attacking header. Should have come off straight away to minimise damage - but carried on for 10 mins afterwards.

ML Didn’t seem impressed with him, was sat next to that Natalie he was swinging his arms around like he was pissed off . ML went downstairs from directors box about 2 mins before Sefil got injured. ML then came back. Next thing Sefil is took off and wingers have switched side. Might be a coincidence but doubt it.

Just got back from Morocco, great trip.

Went up to the training session on Saturday night and the relationship between fans and players was great. The players and staff went out of their way to chat to the fans.

Sunday night at the match there was 3 policemen for every fan, couldn’t believe the security but they didn’t want any Raja fans there.

Some good performances from the goalie, Sylla, Stott and a couple of others.

Eagles didn’t play because he picked up a knock on Saturday

Any mention of the trialists signing? Or any signings at all?

It's called observation,  you might be among those when the season starts who will be shouting at him in frustration to go forward.

Unless of course you prefer backwards and sideways football?

BP you should know better than most on here first game of pre season is nothing more than a leg stretch. Especially in the heat they played in. When we get back that’s when the ‘observations’ should start kicking in.

    According to Twitter:

    Game 1 - Lineup:

    1. Woods 2. Mills 4. Sefil 6. Stott 3. Iacovitti 17. Missilou 8. Sylla  Trialist14, 7. Branger-Engone, Trialist11,  9. Vera

    Subs

    13. Zabret 10. Maouche 19. Hamer 5. Swaby-Neavin , Trialist18, Trialist20, Trialist15, Trialist21, 16. Robinson

Game 2 - Lineup and changes:

Woods, Sefil, Hamer (Trialist18 on ‘26), Stott, Iacovitti, Sylla, Trialist11 (Trialist15 on ‘18), Missilou, Maouche, Branger, Trialist21

    So we had Trialists wearing numbers 11, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21

14 was Chris eagles from the photos.

The way I see it our team currently looks something like

                        Woods

    Mills   Hamer   Lacovetti   Nepo

    Branger  Missi  Maouche  Syla

                   Vera   Benteke

Clearly a few glaring gaps in scoring enough goals and any real experience in the centre of defence.

Lets hope we can sign a few before Forest Green!

Central midfield sylla playing left wing and Benteke who’s left us, can’t see it 👍
